Un nuevo comienzo para mi barra: Mantenimiento y mejoras [ESP|ENG]
El día empezó temprano. Había quedado con mi papá para hacerle mantenimiento a la barra que uso para entrenar. La barra estaba algo oxidada, así que decidimos primero lijarla, luego aplicar fondo anticorrosivo y, finalmente, pintura de aceite.
Empezamos lijando por la mañana. Después, buscamos el fondo anticorrosivo, que es una pintura que previene la oxidación. Le pasamos una mano, especialmente en las zonas de agarre, que son las que más contacto tienen con el sudor y se oxidan más rápido.
Fuimos a almorzar y, después de un breve descanso, buscamos la pintura de aceite, pero nos dimos cuenta de que estaba dañada. Nuestra solución fue continuar pintando el resto de la barra con el fondo anticorrosivo, que es de color negro y similar a la pintura de aceite, pero con la ventaja de proteger el metal.
Aunque olvidé tomar fotos del proceso, les prometo un antes y después de cómo quedó. Además, quiero comprar un grip rojo para el agarre, ya que quedó un poco incómodo. También estoy pensando en ponerle varias pegatinas de la comunidad SWC. Creo que va a quedar un trabajo muy bonito.
Lo más seguro es que mañana me encargue de limpiar una zona de mi casa para poder grabar contenido de mayor calidad para la comunidad. Estoy pensando en ambientar este sitio específicamente para entrenar, y sé que quedará bastante bien. De esto sí les traeré imágenes con más detalle.

The day started early. I had arranged to meet my dad to do some maintenance on the bar I use for training. The bar was a little rusty, so we decided to sand it down first, then apply an anti-corrosive primer, and finally, oil-based paint.
We started sanding in the morning. Then we looked for the anti-corrosive primer, which is a paint that prevents rust. We applied one coat, especially to the grip areas, which have the most contact with sweat and rust faster.
We went to lunch and, after a short break, we looked for the oil-based paint, but we realized it was damaged. Our solution was to continue painting the rest of the bar with the anti-corrosive primer, which is black and similar to oil-based paint, but with the advantage of protecting the metal.
Although I forgot to take pictures of the process, I promise you a before and after of how it turned out. I also want to buy a red grip for the handle, as it turned out a little uncomfortable. I'm also thinking of putting several SWC community stickers on it. I think it's going to be a very nice job.
Most likely, tomorrow I will clean up an area of my house so I can record higher quality content for the community. I am thinking of setting up this place specifically for training, and I know it will turn out pretty well. I will bring you more detailed images of this.
