A Satvik food is one that are light and healthy, while a Vaisnav food is one that does not contain Onion and Garlic. As soon as I made up to Delhi My first complete diet inclide a combination of both. I was served with khichdi and it's combos made up of without Onion and Garlic.

Vaishnav are those who have followed the religious path followed a specific community. They dedicated themselves to serve to their community duty and barred themselves from eating tamansic food. Garlic and Onion are banned for them because of the smelling nature and high inflammatory nature.
I am not in a habbit of eating such food, but geting a chance I can not do much. So it was tasty and really good source of energy.
*A sattvik food is said to be one that increases energy, happiness and mental calmness. So khichadi is the best for the dsy when served hot. This are easy to digest and light in nature.

In Indian home khicahdi, is served with different combo. Infact it is said "khichadi k char yaar, dahi papad Ghee achar". Means there are four friends that can be best accompanied a Khichdi dish. These are, curd, Ghee, papadam, and pickle. I have all of them, while Ghee was already spread over the plate, I was served the other three item separately. I have an additional fifth item too.

The fifth item is messed fried potato. This is also made up of without any onion and garlic. Being a potato lover my dish is incomplete without any potato item. Khichadi tastes better with messed potato.

The other item are also served separately. It is said to taste the home made khichadi with all four of them one by one. Once with khichadi, one with Ghee, once with papadam. And so on. It really taste better sith each one of the.

Khichadi has always occupy a special place in every Indian kitchen. Made up of rice and lentils, these are good healthy food that are easy to digest. Infact during illness every doctor recommends, to khichadi because they are light considered to be very light diet which are easy to digest. Many Indian home likes to have Khicahdi on Saturday.

So it was a good diet to begin my short Delhi trip. From a restaurant to home food the journey was really interesting.

Peace!!

Namaste @steemflow

This is very tempting to see the food. I have been practicing No onion No garlic for over 10 years now. It definitely makes a huge difference I should say.

Diet and food provide energy and nutrients, affecting body weight, strength, mood, and preventing diseases for a healthier, longer life. Diets rich in lean meats, eggs, nuts, leafy greens, and healthy fats like olive oil can help boost testosterone levels. A diet with lean meats, nuts, and healthy fats boosts testosterone, while oral testosterone treatment can further enhance hormone levels. Oral testosterone treatment is used to manage low testosterone levels.
