Greetings Dear Readers;
.
Hope you are well and enjoying a fine Summer's day wherever you are.
How about this principle....'The real you is what you think.'
We could ask...Why is this important? Because a thought can make you or break you.
Our motives, decisions and actions come from thought. The process looks something like this ...Thought... Motive... Decision... Action. Every action should be composed from these four components.
First we have the thought...for example...'We should make a cake.'....then the Motive,... the 'Why'....'because it is my dear Gran's birthday'....then Decision...'Yes, indeed.'.....Action...'Let's make a cake.' The Decision could have been ....'No, we do not have enough time.'
Years of thoughts both positive and negative...whether leading to action or not make you who you are.....'You are what you think.'
Additional note...Not all thoughts lead to action.
Let's give this principle a think...shall we.

Details with regard to the 'Icing' (Photographs and Painting)....
The photographs were taken with an iPad Pro. Bleujay arranged the still-life with fruits from the Green Grocer and Hydrangea flowers from her Garden.
The painting materials; Watercolour Paper Arches Not Press/ Cold Press, Watercolour Professional Paint Tubes Daniel Smith, Sable Watercolour Brushes 6 and 8, and Graphite Drawing Pencils. The painting has been presented previously and differently.

I use to have many thoughts that lead to many actions. Now it seems I still have as many thoughts, but less of them get action. LOL..... Funny, but not funny sometimes. You certainly do have to think of something first, before anything can happen.
Love your tulip and blue berry painting. Love how the berries have the hint of green with little black spots in some areas.

Blueberries, blackberries and peaches are locally in season here in Vancouver. I can't get enough blueberries with a scoop of Chapman's Vanilla ice cream. A way to motivate me to eat better and healthier. I've abnormally lost 12 pounds over the last 6 months as a symptom of my condition.

@bleujay Greetings, friend. You've shared some wise words. Often, we have the thought of doing something important or something that's valuable to us. But due to a lack of action or not knowing what the right motivation is, we don't do it. We procrastinate and leave it for a later time that never comes.
That's why I like your advice: thinking must be accompanied by knowing how to carry it out depending on the circumstances.

I like "The real you is what you think." because the thoughts always come prior the action (at least they should), so they are the origin of what is happening in our lives. First the idea/the plan, then the decision, then we do anything, but without the thoughts at the beginning nothing substantial could be achieved.
The lemons (plus their flowers) look so bright and fresh, in the photos and your picture!

All these things are essential in our daily lives. When their seasons come, people use them and their health improves significantly.
This principle is so true! We can be our own best champion or our own worst enemy and all because a thought came into our mind unbidden. What we do with those unbidden thoughts is the key. I love the 'Icing' as well as the fruit and flower arrangements <3

I can recall the first time I heard certain ones and how much I cherished thinking on them. A few words with such volume of thought inside.
Index cards are just the size for writing them down to keep around in a special tin or wooden box.
Oh that's a great idea! Index cards aren't just for recipes anymore 😆

( NOT all thoughts end in action,.) I totally agree with this phrase.... this makes me remember some phrases that I have heard, for example: If I could I would kill this person, if I could I would throw a grenade at this house, I dislike this person, I would love to shoot him etc, can you imagine if the action is carried out. Some people say I have killed this person several times with my imagination, human evil has no limits, sometimes I think, if we are created in the image of GOD, why are some people like this

Humans have self determination....I will....Volition.
Humans have self consciousness....I am.
Humans have a conscience....I ought.
Humans have mentality to learn vocabulary with which to reason....I think.

He gave us this essence and we learn of them as we grow into adulthood.
Volition is an important part of the human experience. God gives mankind the freedom to choose.
He knows we are human with the right to accept his plan for mankind or to reject it.
There are those who accept His plan and those who reject His Plan. He has made provision for mankind that delivers us. The plan of salvation and after salvation the forgiveness of wrong doing that we name to Him in order to continue to have a relationship with Him. However we never lose Salvation once we say, 'Father, I believe in Jesus Christ.'
