“Market Friday” ~ When I found an amazing Colombian restaurant in Paris France 🇫🇷

Hi all 👋🏻

For my next post in our lovely community this Friday for the #MarketFriday by @dswigle - Denise. I will show you some #impressions of an evening in PARIS FRANCE on 3 July 2022 😎 and the amazing Colombian Restaurant we visited for dinner.

These photographs are taken with my iPhone 📱😎🤓 and I follow the time stamps on them. So you can walk with me a little while 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

The location of this #restaurant is in the 9th Arr. / district of Paris and shown with the yellow star ⭐️ on Google maps:

Address: 35 Rue de Montholon, 75009 Paris, France

But before I show and tell you more about this restaurant let’s have a look at some amazing architecture, large buildings and streets in the area.

Walking past a park in the city I can’t walk by without taking some photos of these lovely flowers 🌸

Crossing streets I spot an Invader #StreetArt work.

Of course we check it out 😎

It’s cool 😎 don’t you think? 👻👻👻

We see this amazing building and it’s architecture a little bit further…

To the left this grand building… if you are wondering… nope, I’m not in the middle of the road. I’m on the pavement next to parked cars, the cars on the right are only driving. 😉

As we crossed over a zebra on the right we are next to the first large building, I see these statues all lined up 😎 they are stunning 🤩

What an entrance…

The front of the same building: it is the Opera House/ Palace Garnier.

We walk further and take in the busyness and all the beautiful buildings around us.

If you look up once in a while you see amazing things on the façades. Like here these statues. 🥰

Another street we walk by, it feels much calmer here, away from the busyness.

We walk a little loop now and arrived back at the Opera house. Here you see it from another angle.

I take some close ups of the statues on the corner.

Such an emotion this statue sends out…

On the side of the building is a restaurant.

Talking about restaurants, let’s go to the Colombian restaurant now and have some dinner. 😎😉

We ordered:

I must tell you, the #food was just amazing, I for sure will go back there when I visit Paris again.
I recommend this restaurant when you would visit Paris. Check it out. location and address see above in my post.

"blocky" street art seems to be appearing in a few places, must be flavour of the month?

Talking of flavour that quite reasonably priced food is just looking amazing, as is the street photography, as always!

The works from Invader are mosaic tiles. Pixels… if you look closer up. Even this little ghost 👻
I like his works as they are everywhere around the world.

At first glance actually I thought it's just the effects of the photo but when you zoomed out in the next photo, it was really drawn that way. It's so interesting!

It was a cool find @mipiano we could find any type of food from all over the world if we wanted.
The food was delicious 😊😎

Invaders work is great, you can see him all over the world. Rather famous he is.
Even here in Spain.

Paris Architecture is so amazing, and the little ghost street art you found looks nice.
I like Colombian food, and that's so cool you were able to try it there. La Bandeja Paisa looked yummy 😋

Yes, it is… I sooo enjoyed my time there, even if it was a short weekend break.
The little ghost 👻 he was so cute, couldn’t pass by without taking a photo. Hehehe 🤭

Luckily we stumbled upon this restaurant, and we could even talk Spanish 😎 the food was great.
Getting there @coquicoin slowly but steady, still resting a lot and morning are tough but I see every day improvement. Over 3 weeks now sigh 😔
But soon I’m back 100% 🤞🏻🤞🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Thank you so much 😊

I enjoyed the buildings. I like the grand building and the opera house, oh, I like them all! :D Such details in there.

Each building you walk by in Paris is just amazing… so much details 🤩 loved wandering around and seeing them.

The food… 🥰 delicious. Nope, I couldn’t finish my plate (the one with the fried egg) hehehe 🤭 it was so much. Truly delicious.

Damn, that place is expensive. I use to go to a Colombian place on Paseo Colon in San Jose Costa Rica and it was about 70% cheaper but that is about 5 years ago. Something like these meals in Antigua would be less than half that price right now.

This restaurant was in the centre of Paris, the capital of France. Prizes are just more expensive over here in Europe.

I love that Opera House! Isn't the architecture just amazing? And beautiful and AMAZING? Don't you just wish you could live close by, just so you can look at it, every single day? That was incredibly beautiful, Jackie and you got some fabulous pictures to go with it.

Le sigh.

I wish I could go back right now, but, commitments, work and other obligations stop me. I am o happy that you continue to travel. I do, but, it is way more limited that before. Many companies do not travel as they one did before, sadly.

The Columbian restaurant was wonderful! You truly found a winner, although all of my family wants to know what you ate Columbian food in Paris. Well, my last trip was to Columbia and I ate Indian food. LOL It happens! Thank you for supporting the challenge, putting in the time and getting a kick butt post and for being a true asset to the blockchain! Thank YOU!

Yes, the opera house. What an architectural masterpiece. We sat on the stairs, side and front for a while to take it all in… just stunning.
Yes, that would be pretty cool to live close by. But I just visit on my holidays as I prefer nature now… away from the business hahaha oh I think I’m getting older… lol

We are sure not back with traveling like before the pandemic. So many companies still limiting, travel, accommodation etc. it will take a while.
And yes, I fully understand commitments.
Luckily hubby got some holidays left and we thought… as he can’t transfer them over to next year. Let’s just go. 😉🤓

Hahaha I know, and I would always go first for local food on my travels. As we did every other day being in Paris. But wandering past it, and in Spain we don’t have much choices either in other countries food (were we live)… we just went for it. And I’m glad we did as it was delicious.
See, it does happen… funny how we can chose now certain foods, not bound to countries anymore.
