Nasz staruszek nadal dzielnie walczy. Co tydzień odwiedza kardiologa i na szczęście w płucach nie ma już wody, a płyn wokół serca zbiera się bardzo powoli. Lekarz nie ukrywa, że ze względu na stan serca czasu nie zostało już zbyt wiele, ale najważniejsze jest teraz jedno – leki, spokój i jak najmniej stresu.

Our old boy is still fighting bravely. Every week he visits the cardiologist and thankfully there is no fluid in his lungs, while the fluid around his heart is building up very slowly. The doctor was honest that, because of his heart condition, he probably doesn't have much time left, but the most important things now are his medication, peace and avoiding stress.

To kot wychodzący od wielu lat, dlatego zgodnie z zaleceniem lekarza nie zamierzamy zamykać go w domu. Nadal może chodzić swoimi ścieżkami, wygrzewać się na słońcu i żyć tak, jak lubi najbardziej. Nie wiemy, ile czasu jeszcze przed nim, ale chcemy, żeby każdy dzień był po prostu dobrym dniem. Jeśli kiedyś nie wróci do domu, przynajmniej odejdzie szczęśliwy i wolny, a nie zamknięty w czterech ścianach.

He has been an outdoor cat for many years, so following the doctor's advice we won't keep him locked inside. He can still follow his favorite paths, enjoy the sunshine and live the way he always has. We don't know how much time he has left, but we want every day to simply be a good day. And if one day he doesn't come home, at least he'll leave this world happy and free, not confined within four walls.
