Here comes a fairly short post about one of the ordinary winter days in 2014.

In this opening shot, you can take a look at the pine trees in the camping place with the best beaches in Medulin, my hometown. While I was observing the scenery, with the camera ready to shoot ...

A man. a young girl, and a beagle were walking toward me. It may look in this shot that I spied through the lens of my camera on some casual passer-byes. But I know these people well.

We met, there under the pines, some minutes later, and we continued walking and chatting together.

At one point we came across a carcass of a sea monster. The mysterious creature was lying in the shallows. Its size was pretty impressive.

I'm just fantasizing, of course. This is the trunk of a tree brought from who knows where by the currents.

The currents, in collaboration with the tides and waves, also brought plenty of seaweed fragments to the shore. Here you can see the small seaweed dunes on the beach.

This boat was photographed earlier that day in the area near the harbor. The place is called Vizula and the coast is there mostly muddy.

Here you can see the rubbles in the decaying interior of an abandoned building in Marlera.

Marlera is the coastal area near Liznjan, and Liznjan is a village situated only about three kilometers from Medulin, the town in which I live. In this photograph, you can see the exterior of the abandoned building introduced in the previous shot.

Here you can see the part of the facade decorated with some relatively recent graffiti.

Here you can see another interior shot. I don't know what was the function of this building when was new and in good shape.

Here you can take a look at the scenery closer to the Liznjan's harbor. Marlera isn't far from there.

This colorful food was photographed in a house on the outskirts of Pula. The same house appeared in yesterday's post as well.

Plenty of food was on the table that evening.

The chefs were dancing around the kitchen ...

... and a small snail was found in the salad.

The food was very tasty and photogenic.

I took plenty of photographs, but my old compact camera was pretty bad, especially when the light is low, so the photographs aren't very good.

All of them are muddled and grainy, and some are also motion-blurred. But I'm glad that these grainy, muddled memories exist.

And that's it. When it comes to the food and my friends from the city. The post isn't over yet. I have a few more photographs to show today.

This is by far the best of all today's photographs, in my opinion. A friend looked very cool with the large sombrero on her head.
