Tokyo Tokyo is one of the places my sister and I go to whenever we crave for Pork Tonkatsu. It is one of the famous Filipino restaurants that offers affordable Japanese food.
At first, we want to order Bento Meal. However, she also wanted to taste Chicken Karaage. Since the Bento Meal is quite expensive, we ordered the small portion of it, which is the Pork Katsudon Donburi.
Pork Katsudon Donburi is a meal in a bowl filled with rice and Pork Tonkatsu drenched in sweet savory sauce, with egg toppings finished with fresh onion leaves. In the middle, there’s a small plate of 6 pcs. Chicken Karaage, perfectly fried golden-brown boneless chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce and garlic, coated in flour. My sister and I happily shared these delicious meals together.
When I was on my way home after an exam, I stopped by Tokyo Tokyo and treated myself again with Pork Katsudon Donburi. That time, I was lucky that they offered a combo meal, which included Red Tea and Miso Soup. I also added coffee jelly for a dessert. It was the best and comforting meal I had after a tiring day 💖
