Sugbo Central Food Park πŸ›πŸ»

Welcome to another food park blog! βœ¨πŸ˜„

The last days of the Colon night market have made me very sad because night bazaars are not always present in Cebu, where I live. The night market ended last January 31st. However, the moment I saw videos on Tiktok about this newly opened food park, I became enthralled!

I'm not sure what it is about night markets or food parks that piques my interest, but I'm pretty sure it's the food and, of course, the vibe. It was raining a little when we arrived, but that didn't stop us from going. We only waited 20 minutes for a jeep to arrive.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to..

Sugbo Central Food Park

This food park can only be found at I.T Park, Lahug Salinas Drive Cebu City (main entrance) along the road, across Waterfront Hotel Lahug. Yes! You read it right. Aside from Sugbo Mercado, this newly opened food park which was previously a vacant lonely lot, has been transformed into a bright, accessible, buzzing with various delicious foods and with the videos being shared all over internet, Sugbo Central is getting the attention of Cebuanos because of social media. Though the space is not as big as Sugbo Mercado, it has few food stalls you can choose from which you can also buy from Sugbo Mercado. Take a peek on my blog about Sugbo Mercado after typhoon Odette destroyed the whole place here.

Many workers, mostly from BPO's, are majority of their customers who are taking advantage of this park because of how accessible is the location from their offices or buildings.

Various delicious foods are installed, just like in other food parks. There are roasted porks and chickens, soups such as ramyeon, sandwiches such as egg drop, international cuisines, shakes, alcoholic drinks, and coffees. I was surprised because they sell alcoholic beverages, which I thought were prohibited in food parks, but they do. I suppose I'd like to go back and drink some sujo.

Since I was craving for lechon that night, we bought 1/4 kilo of it which cost 180 pesos + puso or hanging rice which is 10 pesos each. Not bad, the price is just right.

I also tried their egg drop which cost me 169 pesos and a mango shake which was in promo buy1take1 cost 140 pesos. Both were so mouthwatering and worth to try.

And for the first time, after watching trendy photos and viral video clips about this very budget friendly iced coffee, there's no way that I have to pass even if it was raining.

Sugbo Macchiato @ 49 pesos in a flavor of Caramel Macchiato. This is one of those popular coffees who sells coffee at the very low price. Some sells it 39 pesos but I think only for 1 kind of flavor. But still, this coffee is tasty. You can really taste the caramel on it. This is pretty good for those who just want a quick grab and go to drink and for those who wanted to try macchiato but in a tight budget which is so good in every age level.

Overall I enjoyed the experience, if it was not only raining, I will surely tour you around each booths. Because it was drizzling I can barely take photos but I hope I was able to make ya'll see what they have in Sugbo Central Food park. IT park peps is just too lucky to have this food park as one of their option to where to have their breaks and lunches but also very costly since not all foods here are affordable. It still depends on what food you would like to order. Regardless, I would like to revisit the park on a bright daylight soon.

There has been few food parks that I will be sharing soon, so keep tune and let's experience Cebu food parks together!

Thanks for coming with me! Til my next foodpark blogs✨

Ugh, me too!! I find it very annoying sometimes. When the food isn't there, you keep thinking of what food to eat, but then, when they're there infront of you -- u got confused so much, like really? 🀣🀣
