Arts and Entertainment Performances in Lhokseumawe City.

Hello Everyone.
The town of Lhokseumawe is not that wide but has a very dense population. This city is very old or about 135 years. According to historical records written by Von Schmidt (He was a Dutch sea captain) that this city is a city that has the best port on the north coast. At present, the city of Lhokseumawe has become a highly developed administrative city.

Last night I did not expect an event to take place in Lhokseumawe City. The theme of the event is "Culinary Fiesta 2022". The theme is very interesting to me because I think there are different types of food that have been provided as culinary tourism promotion. This event just started until December 15, 2022. I can't imagine that this festival is so lively and there are so many visitors. This place is actually a bus terminal which has a very wide front and rear garden so visitors don't have to worry about being crowded. I was very amazed because the place was decorated with lights in different colors, so I couldn't wait to take pictures.

On the front, there is a spinning wheel decorated with colorful lights. This colorful Ferris wheel game is so exciting that the users of the Ferris wheel sometimes scream when they are at a great height. I was just standing from afar to watch some really fun games and I was shooting with the camera in very low light conditions. Around the giant Ferris wheel, there are several people selling children's games and various drinks and food. But I didn't approach the seller because I was more focused on taking pictures.

I walked and walked away from the pinwheel game attraction and it turns out I found people decorating their hands. Very beautiful floral motifs painted in the hands of a woman, then I continued my journey and I also saw a colorful rickshaw.

Music Performance

Unexpectedly, the event also had musical performances, although they sang more folk songs. The most interesting thing about music is when a vocalist sings a song but the audience screams and sings along. I deliberately approached the stage and took a closer picture of the guitarist. with the decorative lights, it makes the scene very beautiful when the light enters the lens.

Souvenirs

Not far from the Music Performance stage we can find some very unique and beautiful souvenirs. The souvenirs are made of wood and some are made of plastic. I really like motorcycle souvenirs made of wood. I plan to buy it next time I visit. Souvenirs are made manually or by hand without the use of machines, so they are very unique and elegant.

Jewelry Accessories

This jewelry is not actually made of gold or silver. This as ordinary jewelry that can be used for the beauty of the hands. This object is very beautiful because there are various motifs and stunning colors. Generally, this jewelry is used by women.

Culinary food.

I had to leave the souvenir shop because I saw a culinary vendor offering snacks made from potatoes. Although I didn't buy it, I had to take pictures of this type of food. Not many culinary traders are seen, and even types of food are not commonly available. I think because this event has just started, there are only a few traders.

This festival is supported by the Lhokseumawe City Government, which aims to restore the economy of the people previously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. After COVID-19, there has never actually been a kind of festival that can improve people's welfare.
