Have you ever taken coffee from a nearby coffee shop? Before the trend of food delivery apps, we thought that the idea of takeaway to our homes was a bad idea. If you have to enjoy it at home, why not make it yourself at home?

In fact, times continue to develop rapidly. Because they are so busy with a lot of work to do, many people don't have time to make their own food and drinks at home. That includes me sometimes.

Well, that proves that one day a crazy idea will become a well realized idea 😅 Then, let's go back to the topic this time. About takeway coffee.

To be honest, I did the takeway because I still had noncash money in my online shopping account. Also, there happens to be a $1 discount on delivery fees. It was a great time! Besides, I want to enjoy my peaceful side with a cup of delicious coffee even if it's just at home.

From Fore Coffee

In Indonesia, there is a big-local-coffee chain, Fore Coffee. Usually, they are in malls or large buildings that are used as co-workers' places.

Of course, Fore Coffee has menu prices that are half times cheaper than Starbucks. With a taste that in my opinion usually rivals Starbucks. Also, Fore Coffee has more menus tailored to Indonesian tastes. There are many unique flavors that Indonesians usually like, such as pandan flavor, coconut milk flavor, palm sugar flavor, and more.

This time, I decided to buy hot coffee from Fore Coffee. There is only one Fore Coffee outlet located in a mall in the city center where I live.

I ordered Palm Sugar Latte with Triple Cheese Danish. My order was delivered with good packaging.

The packaging has a tight clasp to prevent food delivery workers from opening the packaging.

I admit, Fore Coffee* has better packaging compared to Starbucks. Also, in terms of the packaging they use, it is more attractive.

PALM SUGAR LATTE

This is my favorite coffee variant that uses the sweetener palm sugar. Palm sugar is more fragrant than brown sugar. Usually used more often to sweeten drinks. Meanwhile, brown sugar is more commonly used to sweeten desserts.

For the takeway app version, I paid $2 for this coffee. Look at the packaging. Very unique. There is a picture of a beautiful coffee tree. Also, the packaging is able to withstand heat well.

The heat barrier on the packaging keeps my coffee warm when it arrives at my house. I'm very happy for that. So, there is no difference between whether I buy directly or takeaway.

Triple Cheese Danish

For the first time, I ate this menu. From my search results on the internet, this menu is usually served as a breakfast menu. I paid for $2.2 for Tripe Cheese Danish.

I'm quite excited and also curious about what the filling of this puff pastry type will be like. At first glance, there wasn't much cheese on the inside after I tried to split it into two halves.

I thought I would be disappointed. But it turns out, oh it is delicious! Didn't disappoint that time. Tastes quite buttery and cheesy. Honestly, I'm addicted to that menu, especially if it's eaten with coffee. ❤️

A PEACEFUL SIDE OF MY HOUSE

I took a cup of coffee and pastry to the peaceful side of my house. I know, peace can be created anywhere if we feel peaceful from within. ❤️ So, it will always be there, wherever we are.
