I don't often take food photos, but who could resist when a cake is this beautiful! My granddaughter is growing up to be an excellent pastry chef. The YouTube cooking generation is doing much better than I did with the Betty Crocker Cookbook!

Oh Melinda, what an abuse to this poor heart.... My birthday is coming up and I'm going to treat myself to a cake like that. And lots of ice cream. My mother called me today and asked me if they already have drinks, rum, tuna for a snack... I don't care about the drinks, I want cake!

Beautiful cake. My compliments to the baker. Sometime we just go for the Betty Crocker mixes lol not even from scratch. Fresh baked anything is lovely.
