Pick basil from the garden to cook. “Pad Krapow” 🌱🌶️

Basil.png

Hello everyone, today everyone went to the garden to collect basil leaves to cook. In our garden, we don't have many basil plants. This year, we didn't plant many because last year we planted a lot and could barely eat it all. This year, we only planted a little bit, but we still get to eat it all the time.

After being away from home for almost two weeks, I haven't cooked much, so I miss Thai food a lot. So Pad Krapow is the best Thai food that makes me miss it and it's an easy menu to make. Normally, I make Pad Krapow with minced meat very often. Today, I will take everyone to make Pad Krapow with minced meat and mushrooms, which I got from the garden.

Ingredients and ingredients

  • Basil leaves
  • 200 grams of minced meat
  • Ready-made basil sauce
  • 80 grams of onions
  • 30 grams of carrots
  • 50 grams of mixed mushrooms
  • 10 grams of garlic
  • 1 Spoon of oil

How to make

  • Fry the minced meat with oil until it's cooked first because I like it dry and not too watery. After frying, add the minced garlic because if you add the garlic first, it might burn.

  • Stir everything together. Then add the carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Mix the rice together. Then add stir-fried basil sauce.

  • Stir-fry everything until cooked. When you are sure that the vegetables are cooked, add the basil leaves as the last step. Today, I also made fried eggs. It will be finished with rice. Stir-fried basil with fried egg is a popular Thai menu.

  • Finished stir-fried basil with basil from the garden. It looks delicious and tastes good. And most importantly, the basil is organic basil that I grow myself. It is delicious and safe. It is also healthy.

Looks enticing! Thanks for sharing Thai recipe. The preparation looks simple and easy and the food looks palatable. It's really good to pick vegetables from our garden and cook them, right? This way, we don't need to worry about buying some from the market because we have our own supply and this is one of the greatest benefits of gardening.

enjoy the food 💚

What a feeling it is when something from the garden that you have nurtured and cared for comes into a great dish and nourishes us, isn't it?
I love that indescribable feeling of being part of something living, like gardening.
That looks delicious! Have a wonderful day.
