I'm hungry, I was in the greenhouse

I entered the greenhouse with growling stomach, desperately searching for something to eat. As I wandered through the rows of young plants, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. The little sprouts were just starting to break through the soil, offering a glimpse of the bounty that awaited in the future.

Although the plants were not yet fully grown, my eyes caught sight of two juicy cucumbers nestled among the leaves. One was petite and perfectly formed, while the other had grown considerably larger. My hunger intensified at the mere sight of these tantalizing green fruits.

Carefully, I approached the cucumber plants, appreciating their vibrant color and their fresh scent that filled the air. As I reached for the smaller one, I hesitated. A thought crossed my mind - should I choose the smaller cucumber, the proper size for a single serving, or should I indulge myself with the larger one, offering more sustenance?

I pondered the decision for a moment, my stomach growling louder with each passing second. Finally, I decided to take both of them. After all, who was I to pass on such an opportunity? This small act of foraging would not significantly harm the nurturing plants, and my hunger simply could not be ignored.

I plucked the two cucumbers from their vines, feeling their coolness against my hands. The sensation sent a shiver of anticipation down my spine. In that moment, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the miracle of nature, for the abundance bestowed upon us by these small plants.

With my prizes in hand, I exited the greenhouse, my hunger finally satiated. The outside world greeted me with warm sunlight and a gentle breeze, enhancing the euphoria of my stolen feast. I devoured the smaller cucumber first, relishing its crispness and the burst of refreshing flavor on my tongue.

As I finished the first cucumber, I savored the momentary pause before sinking my teeth into the second. Its larger size promised even more satisfaction, intensifying the pleasure derived from each bite. Juice dripped down my chin as I indulged myself. There was no guilt in this act; rather, it was a reminder of the simple joys that life offers.

With the cucumbers now consumed, I felt energized and content. The greenhouse had provided not only sustenance, but also a brief respite from the worries of the world. The beauty of nature and the satisfaction of a full belly were a reminder of the interconnectedness between humanity and the environment.

Leaving behind the greenhouse, I carried with me a renewed appreciation for the gifts that nature bestows upon us. And perhaps, in the future, I would pay closer attention to the needs of these plants, nurturing them in return for the nourishment they provide. For now, though, the memory of those juicy cucumbers would remain etched in my mind, a reminder to savor life's small pleasures.

I was use here my Samsung A50 phone to make this photos.

Yes, I read that the worst pest in the greenhouse is not caterpillars and weevils, it's a hungry gardener :)
