Happy Fiesta Sr. San Miguel!

That's What most people celebrate on the 29th day of September and is much awaited by the people. I've known some people who celebrate it but I don't get invitations often. I always turn them down anyway.

Fiestas is not in my religious belief and Way back, I was severely introverted and hated social gatherings, especially those that included food. I hate being gossiped about how many times I returned to get food but that's just me overthinking things.

Since I knew Hive, I went out of my comfort zone and explored things. Besides, I started getting bored with my routine. Facing four walls the whole day is very boring and it even gave me the impression that I am imprisoned. I know most of you can feel me.

Honestly, I did not come for the food but for the experience that could be a good entry as a blog here in Hive. My September journey is very kulelat. I relied mostly on short posts and believe me I tried my best to engage but as I said above, I felt like a prisoner yet I cannot complain since I needed a job and it gave me a living. This month, I hope I can do better.

So that day, Sr. San Miguel's fiesta celebration, it all went as usual. I went to work at 9 in the morning and since I did not have my viand for lunch, I bought paksiw na bangus from the canteen yet when returned to the office, Thommy said they would tag me along to go to Scorpion's warehouse for lunch. I said yes because if the reason I stated above and because why not? It will be a great adventure too. I had been to their place some time ago and it was amazing! I just can't remember if I ever took photos to document it.

When we went out of the gate, we saw lots of people going out to have lunch somewhere too. They have their own motorcycles and had some friends with them. Then I think free food so good and everyone wants it. Also, fiestas can be very exciting because it only happens once a year, right?

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and I regret to ask their names; one of them even volunteered to take us a photo in front of their huge pool. We asked why we were led here then she said that the other side was exclusive fo their co-workers.

Scorpoins sacks marketing is owned by one of the councilors in Cagayan de Oro, He was our Manager's co-worker before in B-MEG. He worked so hard and earned his wealth and fame but stayed as low and remembered those who helped him before. I can see that he is a good man too because his employees stayed with him for a long time and they are much of a proof of his kindness and generosity. What a boss he is!

We endured the heat of the heat of the sun just to have a great photo, and good things I had my sunglasses on.

The pool was amazing and it called for me to swim! Why do I feel that way always, does it happen to you too? A cute cottage is on the side and some beach branches too!

There were lots of amazing wood decors and I bet it were expensive.

We were the only visitors in this place

They had a place where their workers eat but we were guided in the pool and we had it solo. Its good though.

The food were plenty and delicious yet its my first time eating the kind of meat and I guess it was an ostrich meat, and has a bit of smell and punget taste. Glad I only picked very little and went for salad instead. I guess I was very hungry that I forgot to take a photo of my plate.

We accidentally left Nap!

Nap was one of the supervisors and he was supposed to go with us too yet we all forgot about him. What's more funny is that Thommy remembered him when we arrived: but Nixon went to rescue! Good thing he had a car and went to the place with Nap and caught up.

Before everyone settled down to eat, I took the chance to take a photo around and everything angle seems amazing. Every inch was spotless and the glass reflected what's in front of it.

I'm the photographer

As soon as Greg and I finished our food, I asked him to sit on the rattan hammock and took a photo of him then asked him to do mine also. And it was after our visit when I realized I had the fewest picture among us

Then soon some more of my colleagues finished, they posed and gave me their phone and photographed them too.

I sure did my best and gave extra effort to shoot at better angles yet they didn't do the same as I do. Anyway, I still feel awkward in front of cameras so I can't go all in in my pose, char.

A pose at the pool

I took their last photo at that pool, It was hot, very hot at that time and it's very bright. The place is just so amazing to keep our phone camera hidden beneath our pockets

We said our Goodbyes

We were all full and everyone worries about being late in the afternoon, Our time keeper had been very strict lately. We said our thank-yous and goodbyes to the kind staffs and went on our way.

I took a photo of their beautiful garden and wide parking space when my colleagues asked for more.

My camera is in a good mood that day to capture stunning photos too, sometimes, no matter how much I wipe it, the result is still blur.

We had a great time with our quick escapade and it was worth it! We had free food, a nice place, warm welcome, and more than we could ever be thankful for.
