Day 2 Headcold/Covid? Eating like a champion ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ


Woke up this morning, following a decent nightโ€™s sleep, feeling 40-50% better than yesterday. Still waiting on my free home Covid test kit to arrive, so donโ€™t know what I have.

But, determined to get better by eating well & resting up. More OJ for breakfast & a banana ๐ŸŒ
For protein, leftover tuna salad with chunks of cheese. Also, wheaties and bread.

Throat is not burning anymore and itโ€™s easier to swallow. But, while Iโ€™m less congested, still blowing my nose throughout the day & night.



After an afternoon nap (I was getting headachey, tired, light-headed and a touch nauseous) I was prepared to make lunch.

But, my sweet wife beat me to it & surprised me with this delicious, nutritious spaghetti bolognese ๐Ÿ

I did not think she knew how to roast garlic, or dice and sautรฉ onions and green peppers, but she did!

Purring cat-content like a fat cat after this heart meal and grateful that I have not lost my sense of taste ๐Ÿ‘…

Glad you're feeling a bit better. Nice meal your wife made! Garlic is a natural antibiotic according to some sources and I hope it, along with the other healthy tasty ingredients, brings you rapid healing!

I believe in power of garlic & popped a couple of cloves after lunch, heated in olive oil & lemon ๐Ÿ˜Š

Mostly well, except for waves of dizzy spells, & just learned home free Covid kit takes a week to arrive.

So, need to drive out tomorrow to CVS/Walgreens. Have a healthy, fun weekend, my friend ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
