RE: I am not OK

I wish you both great health!
I just spent 8 months of this year caring for my Dad with an unexpected (advanced) cancer. Sometimes people get annoyed with others telling them what to do about health, but at the same time I notice that very few people actually have any idea at all (sadly, often including Doctors/nurses).
I have a lot to say about cancer, but if I were in that position, the first thing I would be looking into is liposomal Vitamin C combined with lipoic acid. Non Toxic and from what I and many others have seen, it is effective at helping clear the body out and to build immune health and balance.
The Cancer Breakthrough is a decent book to give an overview of the topic. <- That link is for a 'free' ebook version.
There are many other ways to help the body find balance but each person is unique and needs to find the causes and solutions that will work for them.

Thanks for the comment. At our appointment last night, the doctor assured us that this is not a cancerous tumor and that there really isnt anything to worry about. We have been looking into changing our diets a lot more and we have been supplementing different vitamins. I am going to look at that book and see what else we can do to really take our health back into our own hands since everything out there seems to be poison for our bodies.
Oh, that's great to hear. Studying the growth of the body is such a deeply important topic for everyone, regardless of their health - aside from it being fascinating, it is an area of learning about who we are that is overlooked. Anything you can do to remove toxicity from your bodies and environment, plus to ensure your nutritional requirements are met - is a good idea.
Thorough, organic detoxification and properly performed fasting are great ideas to help the body to clear out it's junk. The body's elimination pathways tend to rely on the lymphatic system, so supporting the lymph to move by ensuring we are sufficiently hydrated and by walking regularly are a great idea.
Sufficient sunlight exposure and not being stuck behind UV filtering glass all day (such as windows and eye glasses) is also important.
I don't actually do all of these things myself at present, but fully intend to in the near future. Our priorities often get out of alignment with real needs, sadly.
Some other books I recommend:
Health & Light by Dr. Ott (old but good)
Feelings Matter by Ceanne deRohan (all her books are uniquely empowering)
To health!
