That's true, @benthomaswwd, functional and thriving local economies, whether local means in a physical community, or an online blockchain-based one like the We Are Alive Tribe, and that's exactly what I'm looking to build.

Yes, various things on Hive would need to change if Hive is to take its rightful place in the new sovereign systems that are being created outside of the slave system. The downvote feature definitely needs to be changed.

Hive has many challenges at the moment, but I still love and believe in it, and I know that it's not a lost cause. I think that big shifts are coming to Hive soon. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
