I am growing cucumbers. These plants are a vibe that grows vertically on a trellis. Cucumbers are a versatile and healthy vegetable with a very neutral taste. A cucumber usually plays second fiddle to a more powerful taste.
Cucumbers like Sun, so if you plan onnplanti g some, aim for a late Summer grow time. They climb the trellis and drop cucumbers from their suspended vine. Suspending them in such a fashion allows for a reduction in pests and a more hearty vegetable.
Cooking with cucumbers is a tasty and healthy way to make dishes. You can make pickels if you have a brine or a number of pastas and sandwiches fortified with this vegetable.
