🇪🇸 ~ 🎆 ¡Feliz Año Nuevo 2026! 🎆 Les deseo a todos queridos y admirados amigos creadores y creativos un año lleno de abundantes bendiciones, prosperidad y sobre todo paz, que es la principal lección de vida que me ha dejado 2025:

🇺🇸 ~ 🎆 Happy New Year 2026! 🎆 I wish all my dear and admired creative friends a year full of abundant blessings, prosperity, and above all, peace, which is the main life lesson that 2025 has taught me:

El mundo necesita mas paz, y esa paz que tanto necesitamos depende de nuestras acciones y forma de pensar, entonces, hagamos un esfuerzo consiente por ser fuentes de armonía dentro del caos, ningún esfuerzo es pequeño si se trata de procurar sanar a nuestra sociedad de tanta violencia; oremos por una humanidad mas piadosa y enseñemos con el ejemplo (sobre todo a los mas jóvenes) a respetar y preservar la vida en todas sus formas.

The world needs more peace, and that peace we so desperately need depends on our actions and way of thinking. So let us make a conscious effort to be sources of harmony amid the chaos. No effort is too small when it comes to healing our society from so much violence. Let us pray for a more compassionate humanity and teach by example (especially to the youngest among us) to respect and preserve life in all its forms.

El último día del año estuve con mi familia desde temprano por la mañana, salimos de compras por algunas cosas extra para la cena de Año Nuevo y ese recorrido por la ciudad siempre me hace vivamente consiente de lo muy afortunada que soy, por tener una familia amorosa e incondicional, por nuestras tradiciones y costumbres pero también por cómo la vida a sido buena con nosotros a pesar de todas las dificultades por las que atraviesa la economía mundial y nuestro país también.

On the last day of the year, I was with my family from early in the morning. We went shopping for some extra things for New Year's Eve dinner, and that trip around town always makes me keenly aware of how fortunate I am to have a loving and unconditional family, for our traditions and customs, but also for how good life has been to us despite all the difficulties facing the global economy and our country as well.

Ayer pase toda la tarde y parte de la noche cocinando, en una bonita y tranquila atmosfera sin prisas porque así espero, ojala, que sea 2026... menos prisas, menos urgencias, incluso sin preocuparme demasiado por qué hacer después o planificar meticulosamente qué haría el día de hoy, yo que he sido por años fanática de las agendas y las listas de "to-do" con horarios, quiero descansar de esa forma de vivir los días, al menos por un tiempo.

Yesterday I spent the whole afternoon and part of the evening cooking, in a nice, calm atmosphere without rushing, because that's how I hope 2026 will be... Less rushing, less urgency, without worrying too much about what to do next or meticulously planning what I would do today. I have been a fan of diaries and to-do lists with schedules for years, but I want to take a break from that way of living, at least for a while.

Para la cena de Año Nuevo solo fuimos mis tios/padrinos, mi mamá y yo, el resto de la familia se encuentra de viaje tanto dentro como fuera del país, a todos los extrañamos mucho; así, recibimos el año con un brindis y muchos abrazos, y como ya no tengo 15 años apenas pude me quite los tacones y fui por una pijama (a lo lejos escuche muchas video llamadas pero mi conciencia ya se había salido del server).

For New Year's Eve dinner, it was just my aunt and uncle/godparents, my mom, and me. The rest of the family is traveling both within and outside the country, and we miss them all very much. So, we welcomed the new year with a toast and lots of hugs, and since I'm no longer 15, I took off my heels as soon as I could and went to get my pajamas (In the distance, I could hear lots of video calls, but my consciousness had already left the server).

Hoy por la mañana ha hecho un sol muy bonito y todo estuvo silencioso, la ciudad esta casi desierta y me siento feliz y en calma mientras edito esto rodeada de los michis de la casa; sé que los post sobre arte y diy han sido escasos y créanme que eso me ha afectado mucho emocionalmente porque principalmente es lo que mas me gusta hacer, y se que es lo que mas les gusta leer de mi, pero no se preocupen que muy pronto estaremos a tono de nuevo con ese tópico y mientras tanto, gracias por acompañarme, por el cariño, y espero tengan un muy, muy feliz y exitoso inicio de año ☕ 🐈

This morning was beautifully sunny and everything was quiet. The city is almost deserted, and I feel happy and calm as I edit this surrounded by the cats in the house. I know that posts about art and DIY have been scarce, and believe me, that has affected me a lot emotionally because that's mainly what I like to do most, and I know it's what you like to read about most, but don't worry, we'll be back on track with that topic very soon. In the meantime, thank you for accompanying me, for your affection, and I hope you have a very, very happy and successful start to the year ☕ 🐈
