Foodilicious Bazaar and Frozen Ice Cream 😋

In the past almost 2 weeks, I have not posted anything in the ASEAN Hive community. From Christmas Day until next year, I'm going to have long holidays. In order not to become annoyed by work during my leave, I have to complete many tasks for my work. In addition, many of my friends invite me to their Christmas and annual year parties, which is also why I don't have enough time to post every day.

Even so, during the weekend I did not forget to take a break and enjoy my date with @butwo. There's a Foodilicious Bazaar at Riverson -The Walk mall in Kota Kinabalu for 3 days (Friday to Sunday). We visited there on the last day of the event.

Christmas is around the corner and many people are going to the city to buy Christmas gifts and enjoy shopping in the malls decorated for the holidays. The traffic to our destination was congested with cars, so it took us some time to search for parking lots nearby the bazaar.

Not only Christmas decorations were on display at Riverson - The Walk mall, but Chinese New Year decorations were decorated in this mall too. The Chinese New Year will be celebrated on 22 January 2023. In my country, we usually put up festive decorations two months in advance of the celebration.

We had lunch first before exploring the bazaar. In my hometown, Riverson - The Walk mall is considered a luxury mall that sells luxury goods. Kopi Ping Cafe is one of the restaurants in this mall that offers cheap or affordable meals. Therefore, we chose this restaurant for lunch.

It was a sunny and hot day on our date. We had Kopi Ping Cafe's signature drinks, cold black coffee and cold green tea milk to cool our warm bodies. As for our lunch, @butwo had Steam Chicken Rice, while I had Spaghetti Cabonara.

Even though many customers dined at this restaurant, our meals were delivered very fast to our table.

As soon as we finished our lunch, we set off for the Foodilicious Bazaar. Before that, we headed to the nearby ATM to withdraw cash. This is in case some bazaars don't accept cashless payments for goods.

We did not buy anything at the outdoor food bazaar. The food and drinks that I was attracted to were sold out or there were long lines of people waiting to buy the goods. When we stepped into the indoor bazaar with its refreshing air conditioning environment, I saw my favorite snack, Pepero.

I immediately purchased 5 boxes of Pepero for RM20.00 and paid an additional RM1.00 for an additional box (purchase with purchase offer). The seller also gave us lots of milk candies as free gifts.

After that, we continued window shopping in the food bazaar and the shops in the mall.

At this Peroro stall, I expected to see people wearing a Peroro costume. On Facebook, I saw many people taking pictures with Peroro. However, I wasn't lucky enough to get a picture with Peroro. Peroro was not present at the bazaar event on the last day.

Another long line of people at one of the stalls of the indoor food bazaar. This stall sells frozen ice cream. I don't like to wait in line, but I have never tried frozen ice cream before. Since this is the last stall in the food bazaar, I bought Mango Yogurt frozen ice cream for my first experience.

I'm sharing my Mango Yogurt frozen ice cream with @butwo near the mall's main entrance. That's the only spot available for us to enjoy frozen ice cream together.

I was told by @butwo that people who have just entered the mall gaze at me happily eating frozen ice cream. Then I responded without shame, "Never mind, I'm just indirectly promoting this frozen ice cream stall to increase their sales."
