My PDC Journey with iRise Driving School – From Metro East to Motorbike Mastery

Today was an exciting and productive day as I finally took my Practical Driving Course (PDC) for a motorcycle at iRise Driving School, located at Robinsons Metro East.

I left early in the morning and rode a jeepney heading toward Metro East. Since I arrived a bit early — around 9:00 AM — I had time to drop by 7-Eleven to grab a quick breakfast meal. Nothing fancy, just enough to fuel me before the lessons begin!

By 10:00 AM, I walked to iRise Driving School, ready and a little nervous. But the moment our instructor Sir Jhon started explaining everything, my worries faded. He was very detailed, patient, and made sure we understood each step before proceeding. It was clear that we were in good hands.

By 12:00 noon, we were given a lunch break. I decided to eat at Jollibee, my comfort food haven. I ordered their classic chicken with rice, Coke, spaghetti, and my favorite dessert — the peach mango pie. Just what I needed to recharge before the afternoon session.

After lunch, we started with the advanced part of the motorcycle lesson — from turning techniques to balancing and road awareness. It was challenging but fun, and I could feel myself becoming more confident with every round.

And guess what? I passed! 🎉 The certificate isn’t available until tomorrow, but I’m just happy I made it through the training.

To end the day, I hopped back on a jeep going to Lunsad Binangonan Rizal, where I treated myself to a caramel macchiato and some red velvet cookies — a little reward for a job well done. After that, I finally went home and took some much-needed rest.

This journey was not just about learning to drive — it was about stepping out of my comfort zone, doing something for myself, and celebrating small wins. Can’t wait to finally get that certificate tomorrow!
