🕊️ Happiness and Sadness on a Hammock: Stories from a Rainy Morning 🌦️
##Hello, my lovely friends.
Today, I'm sharing a story from my daily life. It may be mundane, but it's filled with happiness and sadness, like life swinging on a hammock. This morning, I'm not feeling too well, and the atmosphere around me is filled with rain clouds and tears from the sky.

Last night was a long and worrying night. I barely got any rest because my male green cheek parrot, "Ninja," was seriously ill. I fed him liquid food every half hour, monitored him closely, and held him in my arms for warmth. But then, late in the night, Ninja's condition began to deteriorate significantly. He refused to eat and became lethargic. I watched him until I finally fell asleep.
When I woke up again in his once-warm embrace, my heart sank. Ninja was gone. He slept peacefully in my arms. My grief overwhelmed me. The bond I had with this little guy was too much to describe. As dawn approached, I took a final photo of his lifeless body as a memento before gently packing it in a box, awaiting the time to bury him peacefully in my garden. This is the painful truth every pet lover must face. 😭

☕️ Organizing the Mind... and the Home: Housework in the Rain
As the dawn breaks and the darkness sets in, I must rise and get back to my duties. I prepare breakfast for my daughter before school, and my husband makes a cup of fragrant coffee to recharge. After that, I fully embrace “housewife mode,” going into the kitchen, washing dishes, cooking rice, and vacuuming the house, putting everything in order and getting everything in order, simultaneously organizing both my house and my cluttered mind.

After finishing up the housework, it was time for the rest of my "furry babies." Today, I intended to move the parrot cage to the front of the restaurant so they could get some sunlight. But luck wasn't on my side. It's been raining every day for the past few days, so there's been no sunshine. Nevertheless, the remaining parrots seem to be in great spirits. They're chirping loudly and happily, happy to be out in the open, seeing people, and greeting everyone who walks by or drives by. It's the little joys that make me smile.
I spent quite a bit of time cleaning the bird cage and washing the floor in front of the house, which was more challenging than usual because it had been drizzling all morning. The floor was wet, but I had to do it meticulously. I applied a thorough disinfectant, as I was still worried the remaining birds might catch the virus from the late Ninja. With love and concern, I immediately had my husband order more supplements and tonics to boost their immunity.

🍇 A Special Meal and a Resting Time
After the major cleaning mission was completed, it was time to prepare food for the birds. Yesterday, I gathered passion fruit and papaya from the garden, so today I cut them into pieces and arranged them beautifully in bowls. I also carefully arranged liquid food, cooked rice, and various grains, along with clean drinking and bathing water. I took the utmost care of them today to make up for the loss.

With everything settled, I chose to collapse onto the comfy couch and pulled out my phone. I took photos of the gray sky and the pouring rain to capture the atmosphere of this busy morning. I also had my husband take photos of me cleaning, documenting the whole thing to share with everyone.
It's now 11:41 a.m. and I have to get back to writing this article. Although the mission isn't over yet (there's still a sulcata tortoise waiting for a big meal), the desire to share today's feelings is overwhelming.

Thank you to all my friends for following and giving me encouragement. I hope my story allows you to see the "heart" of a pet lover, that happiness and sadness can occur simultaneously. And every life lost will always remain in our memories. See you in the next article. 🙏
