A warm and auspicious occasion: A day of happiness and family unity 👰🏻❤️💓

##Hello, my lovely friends.

Today was another special and memorable day for me. I had the opportunity to wake up extra early to attend and help prepare for the wedding of my sister, who is my husband's father's cousin. The simple yet meaningful morning wedding filled the entire day with smiles, joy, and genuine warmth.

My first task at home was getting the restaurant ready for the new day.

Before heading to the wedding, I started the day by taking care of some personal business and helping with some small preparations around the house to get ready for the restaurant's grand opening that day. Although there were many things to do at once, the preparations were lively and fun. Once everything was in place, it was time to change into my beautiful outfit and join the groom's family and relatives, who were all busy preparing for the wedding.

As soon as I arrived, I quickly headed to the kitchen, the center of the morning's events. My first task was chopping vegetables and meat, preparing the ingredients for the meal to welcome the groom and the guests. Everyone in the family, including our lovely neighbors, all contributed, creating a kitchen atmosphere filled with laughter and camaraderie.
The welcome menu we created today featured bold and flavorful Thai dishes that were sure to please everyone.

Menu includes

• Pork Leg Tom Yum: This dish requires careful stewing of the pork leg until it's perfectly tender and melts in your mouth. The pork leg is combined with the Tom Yum broth, which is sour, spicy, and tangy, and is fragrant with herbs like galangal, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves. It's a perfect taste bud treat.

• Stir-fried Pork in Black Soy Sauce: This dish is familiar yet enticing, with its balanced flavors, sweet and salty notes, and the beautiful dark brown color from the dark soy sauce. This dish is another dish that quickly clears up a bowl of steaming rice.

• Pork and Bamboo Shoot Curry in Coconut Milk: The rich, creamy coconut milk curry, the fragrant curry paste, and the crunchy bamboo shoots complement the tender pork, creating a warming and reminiscent of authentic Thai cuisine.

• Fresh Vegetable Chili Paste: To balance the flavors and add a refreshing touch, we have our signature chili paste served with a variety of fresh vegetables, including cucumber, long beans, or cabbage, making it a never-ending Thai meal.

The collaborative effort made the preparation of this diverse set of dishes go smoothly and quickly, each fulfilling their own duties, a clear reflection of the power of unity.

The Ceremony and the Feast: Full of Merit, Full of Joy, Full of Stomach

Shortly after the food preparations were completed, the groom and the Khan Mak procession arrived. The wedding ceremony officially began, proceeding with joyful and sacred tradition. My family and I, along with other relatives, played an equally important role: helping to arrange the food on the table to welcome the groom's guests. Everything went smoothly and beautifully.
Once the food was neatly placed on the table, I began taking memorable photos of each dish as a memento of today's kitchen unity. Desserts, too, are a must-try.
Today's dessert was Khanom Piak Poon, a soft, green Piak Poon topped with delicately colored flowers. It's a perfect blend of traditional Thai desserts with modern presentation. It's a truly lovely and delicious sight.

After the traditional morning ceremony concluded, everyone enjoyed a hearty meal together amidst a joyful and delightful atmosphere. Seeing everyone enjoy the food we've carefully prepared is the greatest reward for a chef, and a treasured memory.

The final part of the event was the cleanup. My family and I quickly worked together to wash dishes, glasses, and organize the food and equipment to return to the rented restaurant. The exhaustion of working from start to finish transformed into an indescribable joy and satisfaction. Being able to help create such an important day and witness the happiness of my sister and her family is a treasured memory.
This wedding not only marked the beginning of my sister's life together, but also a testament to the power of collaboration and the strong bonds of family. It was a day filled with happiness, deliciousness, and truly beautiful memories.
