Savoring the ocean, one bite at a time.

Golden Beach, located in the coastal town of Puri in Odisha, India, offers a pristine experience. One of the most capitavating place I ever been to. The beach is always been crowded with people because of the scenic beauty. But I was wondering how these people cope up with their hunger for food. Then it Co.es to light that the besch has a variety of food joints and eateries where visitors can enjoy delicious local seafood.

During our evening walk at the puri besch we have a completely different experience. While the waters splashing on the shore relentlessly was a lovely experience, at the same time the local street foods comes up at the shore has made the place so lively. As we were walking along the long stretch, we smelled fried fish and we followed the direction of the smell. We saw a many unique stalls of sea food. I had not come across so many of them in india so far.

There were many stall selling the local artefacts and toys and other stuffs, at the far end of the market, we found small stalls displaying raw fish and seafood. These stall serving the customers as per their demand. This is quite an unique concept for a differrnt beach experience. frying & serving whatever the customer chooses. The beach goers often found hanging at these stalls savoring on their choice of items. The place is actually ahub for the sea food lovers. Where a variety of items are up for sale.

The stall had so many varieties of raw fish, in different sizes and about 5-6 varieties and sizes of raw prawns and crabs on display. Each of them had a rate per piece and served as per customer choice. Once a customer wud choose a fish, the guys wud quickly marinate it in ginger garlic green chilly paste, dip them into a thick besan and in 5 minutes deep fry it to serve. As quick as you could even make your choice.

They also had the chicken leg piece keeping in the minds the customer demands.

What more unique is the entire stalls turns into red with many of the items ready to be fri3d again.

There were so many of these fish items that I not even knew their names. Each of them were caught from the same sea and nownserving almost fresh during the evening time. The sight was great for any sea food lover.

The stalls were also cooking as per the customers taste. So no wonder as the dark sets, many people visit these stalls to savour thr sea delicious. The atmosphere were quite chaotic and exciting, everyone is enjoying their time. A happy hunting ground.
