My oldest son and his wife are very close by, and sadly with him working at the refinery working very long hours, we see him actually less than we see our son that lives over 100 miles away.....
Very strange isn't itπŸ˜‡

Oh wow, that is pretty wild indeed! I hope that your nearby son is able to find another position that provides the same or better income, and which allows for more personal time. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

It's a shame that people have to go through all that for years just to learn the lesson that it's not the way to go! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Actually it was very nice, because it was high desert and we had over 300 days a year of beautiful sunshine!!😎
Our house had a glass southern exposure window 18 feet tall and we only build a fire in the evening when the sun went down!
It's beautiful country, but it's tourist country, like Hawaii .....very difficult for our kids to grow up and find a job that paid more than McDonald's!!πŸ™„

Indeed, very much so, my friend. Yes, which suggests that in the current fake system that we never actually own our land, because if we don't pay the overlords, we lose our properties. That's a grave divergence from the Constitution. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Exactly my friend...... it's very upsetting to have to continually pay taxes to our overlords!πŸ€”

That's a big reason that I've never tried to buy land, at least not yet! It would be wonderful to have my own land, though! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

At one time when I was younger, I wanted 50 acres and a large home......
Now I realize, even if it's paid off they will charge me to live there with taxes that they increase every year!πŸ™„πŸ€”
