Today isn’t “THE” day Lol, but with our oldest son’s busy schedule at the oil refinery, he finally had a day off work to get together!😍
Michael and his Wife are taking Silvertop and Liz out to dinner!🥰

“Dad, we normally do what is called a “Turnaround” switching from winter gasoline mixture, to Summer, but with the shutdown of oil going through the Straight of Hormuz, we are running at 110% production trying to keep gasoline flowing!”😅
If you really enjoy your work, a “Turnaround” isn’t drudgery, but Silvertop is WAY past wanting to work 12 to 14 hours a day for 10 to 12 weeks straight…..SEVEN days a week!🙄
Michael is starting to “Get it”. He’s had a few trips around the Sun as well as his dad Lol!😇
When my son first started working at the refinery, he was “Hungry”………..😮
Eventually, everyone understands……..😇
Money, my friends is always needed, but sooner or later, you start looking around and see you friends, and family enjoying life, while you slave away working long hours!

Life goes by so quickly my friends!

Our house had a glass southern exposure window 18 feet tall and we only build a fire in the evening when the sun went down!
It's beautiful country, but it's tourist country, like Hawaii .....very difficult for our kids to grow up and find a job that paid more than McDonald's!!🙄
