Did you know about hive.photo ?

Is hive.photo a missed opportunity?

Maybe I just don't pay enough attention and by looking at the Interface and all that is on it, it does not seem to be anything new.

But this is more of a question for all the photographers in in the community.

Did you ever heard of the hive.photo interface and have you ever used it?

I am using it for the first time to test it and I would like to know if this is something that the photography community in here are aware.

Another great place for photography that have flopped?

Through out the years many interfaces and communities directed to the photography creators have came and go. And to me that is also very sad to see. As someone that is a photographer and photography it is my main type of content.

It is interesting to see a interface on the HIVE community, and something very interesting about it is that they have their own token (like so many other communities in here).

Maybe should we revisit this place and this project and give it a new life? Who is in charge? How did I not know about it.

I am super curious to know what people think about this place?

Liketu has been the place

One of the interfaces that I use the most to share my photography and a interface and project I really enjoy is liketu but one of the let downs of the interface is the limit of 10 photos per post, And sometimes I have more than 10 photos to share on the photo so it would be good to have another dedicated place where I can come and share my works, in a community that I know it has interest in photography.

The test

Here I am testing hive.photo with some photos from the photoshoot with Yassine. Yesterday I have shared the main photos from that photoshoot and the main concept we have planned and got out there to create. And then we almost did a whole side of this photoshoot where we kind of got the "side B" and I came up with all this concept.

So let me know if you saw yesterday's post and which side you prefer: side A or side B?

hive.photo is the place to be?

Leave a comment and tell me if you have ever heard of this interface and the PHOTO token here on the Hive blockchain.

I am curious to see what people know about it here in the community and I am curious to see if and how active are the people using the hive.photo interface.

Let me have it on the comments please.

Is maybe this the place for all the photographers to come and start creating and sharing their photos with everyone?

Hello,

I read this publication and your reflection encouraged me to give my opinion.

I'm new to HIVE, less than a month.

However, I have already researched and studied all photography communities. I've already published in some and you can see that few of them have life. There are many others with few members and without publication for some time. I agree with democratization but often “garbage” becomes noise. I accept it but I don’t frequent it or recommend it.

I see that even the most frequented ones are a repository of photographs. There are weekly competitions that encourage participation. But understanding photography is something more than that.

To evolve in photography, or in any other area, we must also have access to knowledge. Look for a community where technical information is shared: photographic equipment, editing programs, technical tutorials for both digital and analogue photography. A community where informs and shares editions of photographic books, magazine publications, historical curiosities, history of photography, etc., etc.

I didn't find any community with these requirements. Do you know anything on Hive that I can present? From the research I did, I didn't find it but the ecosystem is also big and I'm still new here.

About hive.photo, I tried to enter hive.photo without success :( It gives a strange error. Because I have everything fine with Keychain in the chrome extension.

It's an interesting space in that it basically compiles other communities. Just summarize.

But as I said, look for a community within the ecosystem that allows the sharing of knowledge with everyone's contribution.

We only evolve if we learn. Photography is constantly changing and evolving. To stay up to date we need to have access to knowledge.

Thank you for your photo shoot. Urban environments always look good with this color tone (preset) ;)
