Dinner at Murni Discovery Sunway Mentari

One of the famous restaurants in Kuala Lumpur is Murni Discovery. The first time I ate at Murni Discovery restaurant was back in the year 2010. Back then, there were not many branches of Murni Discovery. The one that I went to was in Cheras which is quite far from my house.

I know Murni started their business somewhere in the year 1999 and I heard stories from my friends that Murni started their business as a roadside restaurant somewhere in Subang SS2.

There is a variety of food and drinks sold there. My favorite menu at Murni Discovery would be their Nasi Lemak Murni which comes with an aromatic Ayam Pandan. The price would be a bit on the high side. But the Nasi Lemak Murni's taste is worth the price.

Murni was also the favorite place of @davidke20 to hang out after a long day of work

This is one of the Murni Discovery branches in Sunway Mentari. This branch was temporarily closed for renovation in the last month and recently opened back for business this month. I really love the new concept and color.

I and my family went there around 9 PM. Usually, around this time this place is packed with customers. but just our luck, there were a lot of empty tables for us to choose from.

(Pictures) Sizzling Chicken Chop

For dinner, I and my youngest daughter shared a plate of Maryland Chicken Chop. My wife ordered a plate of Fried Rice with Buttermilk Chicken. My eldest daughter was really keen on ordering the Sizzling Chicken Chop.

I told her that the Sizzling Chicken Chop portion is enough for two people. So I asked whether can she finished the meal. She said she will be able to finish it all up because she is really hungry.

From the kitchen door, I can see the waiter was holding the Sizzling Chicken Chop. Smoke and sizzling sound can be heard and seen from afar. I told my eldest daughter to be careful and do not make a sudden move when the waiter was putting down the sizzling plate on top of the table.

As I expected, my eldest daughter was not able to finish the whole plate. In the end, I and my wife helped to eat the leftover portion of the sizzling chicken chop.

As for the drinks, I and my youngest daughter ordered two glasses of plain water. My wife and eldest daughter ordered the special smoothies. The name of the special smoothies is really unique. One was called 'Kiss Me baby' and another one was 'I Love You'.
