Finding Light and Joy: An impromptu outing at Tilak Nagar!
After the completion of my mid-term exams yesterday and the recent announcement by GGSIPU University that all classes would be conducted online for a while due to the deteriorating Air Quality Index, which had consistently breached the 400+ mark for several days.
Today, my family and I embarked on a spontaneous adventure to Tilak Nagar in Delhi Metro, a bustling market nearby my college, renowned for its diverse collection of jewellery, furniture, and delectable food items. As we strolled through the lively streets of Tilak Nagar, we were greeted by a vibrant atmosphere filled with numerous shops and stalls. Eager to find the ideal chandelier, we began our search by exploring various shops.
After visiting around 7-8 shops, we stumbled upon "Lights 4 U," a shop specializing in domestic and commercial lighting fixtures. The shop boasted an extensive collection of chandeliers, each adorned with beautiful crystals and available at different price points. My parents found themselves in a dilemma, unable to decide between two equally stunning chandeliers. Sensing their confusion, I took the initiative to convince them and make a choice.
After carefully examining both options, I selected the chandelier that I believed to be more efficient and visually appealing. To my delight, my parents agreed with my choice, and we made the purchase. Then, we decided to treat ourselves to the famous street food of Tilak Nagar Market. We devoured mouthwatering spring rolls, tikkis, gol gappe, and enjoyed refreshing banta and rimzim drinks. We were so starving that we completely forgot to capture those street delicacies in photographs.
After satisfying our hunger, we returned home and called a skilled mechanic to install the decorative lights and chandelier in our living room. As the mechanic worked diligently, we eagerly awaited the transformation of our living space. Once the installation was complete, we were left in awe of the magnificent sight before us. The chandelier and decorative lights illuminated the room, casting a warm and enchanting glow. It was a sight to behold, and we were thrilled with our purchase.
Our day in Tilak Nagar was a spontaneous and fulfilling adventure. It was a reminder that even amidst challenging circumstances, joy and delightful discoveries can be found when you least expect them.

Lol, why don't you just visit the market and experience those delicious street foods in person? Hehe, thankyou for the compliment, the chandelier has to be amazing, it was my choice! :)
You can't just tell a gamer to step out of his room, that's a criminal offence...lol
Btw, you could have written this post in the "Market Friday" community and would have gotten a better response.
Gamers should move out of their gaming world, and explore the real world, and that's something I would want to say out loud, lol. Thankyou for your advice, I didn't know that before, but wait isn't it specifically for Friday visits to the market?
No, you can post there any of your market visits, much better if you post on Fridays but still I would prefer a specific niche community so we get response from like minded individual interested in that niche.
Wait...what!? There is a world outside the gaming world too? How that feels like?
Yeah, I totally get your preference for a niche community. It's always nice to connect with people who share the same interests. And as for the world beyond gaming, it's full of interesting people called non-gamers. They're known to enjoy things like fresh air and socializing with other people face-to-face.
Damn girl! That was a brutal roast. Let me go and cry in a corner.
Wait, did you say 'fresh air'? More like gas chamber nowadays. 😂
My phone keeps warning me to stay indoors. 🙃
