Recently a new churro spot has been built nearby and it is there where I tried a true churro for the first time. These things are absolutely delicious and my friends say they taste similar to fried dough. But this article isn't about that.
This article is about something else I tried on the churro spot’s menu. It’s called a Carlota.

Este artículo trata sobre otra cosa que probé en el menú del churro spot. Se llama Carlota.
The Carlota appears to be an ice-cream sandwich with two swirled churros as the buns. There were other ice-cream flavor options, but I chose vanilla.
At this place you can choose to have sugar or sugar and cinnamon on your churros, and I find sugar and cinnamon taste amazing!
This thing was melting quickly so I made sure to begin chowing on it as soon as I got some pictures.
The churro buns were warm and crispy and managed not to steal the show from the ice cream. There was a good amount of ice cream in the middle, and it was creamy and sweet. The best bit was where the ice-cream met the churro bun, melting the ice-cream until it was foamy and delicious. Though the taste was amazing, the Carlota was so big I barely finished it.
In English I've heard this dessert would be called a Charlotte, though I think traditional Charlottes are quite different.
Overall the Carlota was delicious in my opinion. I would definitely get it again sometime.
La Carlota parece ser un sándwich de helado con dos churros revueltos como bollos. Había otras opciones de sabor a helado, pero elegí vainilla.
En este lugar puedes elegir tener azúcar o azúcar y canela en tus churros, ¡y encuentro que el azúcar y la canela tienen un sabor increíble!
Esta cosa se estaba derritiendo rápidamente, así que me aseguré de comenzar a comerla tan pronto como obtuve algunas fotos.

En general, la Carlota estaba deliciosa en mi opinión. Definitivamente lo volvería a conseguir alguna vez.

Churros alone is delicious already, but imagine making it into an icecream sandwich bun. What a treat! I bet my sweet tooth will love it.
