Free Fire Food - Our School Activity

Today was our last day of school for this acdemoc year. Next week onwards we have our annual exam and then we will start afresh with new session, new teacher and new class. So to say adieu and celebrate the last day, our school organised a fun activity for every classes. We were asked to cook something that does not involve fire. Means it will be a fire free cooking. And we had loads of fun.

Our classes were divided into 12 groups, 4 students in each group. We were supposed to bring our own stuff for cooking. As there were no fire involved so we ended up with mostly snacks items. But somehow we were ended up with too many options.

The list gets long and our teacher were surprised to find so many food items. We have named each of the recipe. From sandwich, to salads, to lemonade, to milk shake, and my own special, loaded veggie nachos served with lemonade.

It does not took me to make this. As I was leading my team, I pulled up this idea of making a veggie Nachos. I make use of following ingredients :

• Crispy Nachos (as available in market)
• veggie mix (Cucumber, Onion, Garlic, Green chiili, tomatoes chopped and mixed)
• Myonese paste
• Tomato ketchup

Later on, I mixed all veggies with Myonese paste and spread it over the crispy Nachos. I applied little tomatoes ketchup touching on top of it. It comes out nicely.

It was not like, I comes up with Nachos idea, one other group too had nachos but they are serving them very simple. But it looked nice.

While few groups still struggling to get to their recipe. Though they jave the ingredients they lack the team bonding and unable to finish on time.

One of the groups straightway went with the green salads item. They brought all green veggies and chooped them nicely to present to the teacher.

It was well planned fun activity , that really made our day. We also manage to learn about some new recipe that can easily be made without litting the fire. Such a quality time with so many delicious food.

At the end we were supposed to serve the dishes to other teachers. I am glad that mine was liked by majority of teacher and my efforts were paid off. So this session ended with a food memory that we will carry to next session. Food last day of our school. Learning, Fun, Enjoyment and Cooking.
