Lavazza Museum, the museum of Italian coffee
Hello friends, yesterday for the first time I visited the Lavazza museum, a museum completely dedicated to the history of Italian coffee located in the city of Turin in Piedmont.
This is practically one of the newest museums found in Turin and it was officially opened in 2018.
This museum is located in the Aurora district, where the Lavazza business center is practically located, and this museum is about 1200 square meters large.
As you will see from the photos then if you follow me in the post it is very big and really well done.
The entrance is the museum is paid, I paid practically € 10, a price from my point of view quite honest and this museum aims to explain to people the history of coffee but also of this industry that is crazy and that made history in the twentieth century.
What struck me about this museum is the use of interactive media, to tell this story a really suitable place for families especially if they have children so they can understand the history of this great company.
I must tell you the truth that when I go to these places I always enter with a certain reserve because I am always afraid that they have been conceived as a commercial place for Friday the coffee in reality already at the beginning they explain a little about the various types of coffee that they were and still are imported into Italy.
Of course there is a fairly celebratory part for the company but the most important is the one that makes us understand how the various phases work to get to the coffee that we find for sale in the supermarket.
Of course, an important part of the museum is dedicated to the various machines that have been invented throughout history and that have followed one another over the years that made the Lavazza brand great.
I forgot to mention that the museum is also accessible to disabled people and the various multimedia applications are in various languages so people from all over the world are suitable.
Even in the last part of the ground floor they also explain to you how the quality control of the coffee bean takes place in the company and then of course the whole procedure to get to the roasting.
Going upstairs, on the other hand, there is an area completely dedicated to the various advertisements that have appeared on televisions all over the world, always referring to the Lavazza brand.
I never thought I'd find the costumes that were used in the advertisements and also the spaces where the commercials were shot.
Included in the ticket was a small coffee tasting that was done in the final part before leaving the museum.
So that you could go to the shop where maybe you could buy the coffee blends you liked the most, a nice idea in my opinion.
In the end I can only give a positive opinion of this museum, which in the end I liked it very much, and it made me spend a beautiful and pleasant afternoon, so I recommend it to all the people who may be visiting the city of Turin, but I recommend you do it with a guide.
I hope you found everything I wrote interesting and I hope you liked the photos see you next time.

This coffee museum is so elegant and futuristic at the same time! At least from my point of view 😆😅 everything seems to be polished like a precious stone! I imagine the coffee must be exquisite there.
