The northern shore of Lake Balaton is definitely a good place, good luck finding a suitable property at a reasonable price!
I watched quite a few videos on a similar topic that you wrote about in your previous post. The yurt can be another option, there are some that are more comfortable overall. (with electricity, flushin toilet) And it doesn't need a building permit (as far as I know).
This is a nice couple who live in a yurt. It is mentioned in the video that they found the plot by making contact with small villages, municipalities, which still have quite a lot of municipal land. (In many cases even within the territory of the village, so a building permit is certainly not a problem.) And they are not far off in terms of prices either. Just an idea. Perhaps, it's not so easy around Balaton.
Offtopic: how come there is no Hungarian community on Hive? I was just looking at the frontend traffic on similarweb. Hungary is also 3rd... and I only know about 2-3

There is a 2 hungarian communities on hive but I don’t see many posts there. The traffic might be coming from me partially since I open peakd about a 1000 times a day lol.
Yurts are a thing that I also looked into, there is a Czech company building them for sub 20k
The problem is that they are quite easy to break into, just by cutting the sidewalls. Unfortunately we have quite a lot of break in and enterings during the off season here.
