Two days ago, we had rain in Spain... The last one that I remember was back at the beginning of May! Since then, I think that the temperature hasn't gone below 31-32 Degrees Celsius, but has hit 40 a couple of times...
A few decades ago, it was hot here too, but not like this... Because of that, people built houses with 0 insulation, as the temperature was "pleasant"... I suppose something similar is happening at your place... Homes aren't prepared for "extremes" (heat or cold)... Freezing in winter, boiling in the summer...
Btw, nice shots of clouds over (or under 🙂) mountains! Love it!

Wow, 31-32 sounds like African weather, and at times it can also go above 40.
You are right, as the houses were indeed built with no insulation, and double glazed windows. So, the house is either a fridge, or an oven according to the extremes.
