There are also several small watering holes on the grounds. So if your pint runs dry while wandering around a refill station is close at hand. Yeah, the TV is not missed…

It was. Thank you. The rooms aren't really 5*, but the place is so charming and the grounds so beautiful that it is worth a stay every so often. :)

They are pretty safe in here. Maybe a coyote might come in our compound but are few and far between.

Bend to the north has about 100,000 people and a few more to the south in Sunriver.Here Most of it though is just a lot of open forest with nobody around.

It is pretty amazing. Most of central Oregon is all about geologic upheaval. Life does find a way to survive even in the harshest of environments. 🙂
