Passignano sul Trasimeno a Village near the lake ( Eng/Esp)

English

Hi guys today, I'm sharing with you a little trip I took in the beautiful village on Lake Trasimeno, Passignano sul Trasimeno. A small trip to unwind from the problems of everyday life which lately, between the global and national situation and small everyday problems, isn't exactly rosy. Lake Trasimeno is one of the largest in Italy and is located in Umbria. For us it was a journey of about three hours, two on the way back because we used the motorway, it is not far but not close, and unfortunately in one day we can visit everything It is not possible. However, the lake is very beautiful especially in spring, the greenery that surrounds it is very beautiful and in spring you can also come across various species of animals. Passignano on the other hand is a really beautiful little village located on a hill, everyone told me it was really pretty but I didn't believe it! It is very medieval and also has a medieval fortress, but the thing I liked most are the very small and cute streets.

Mainly we spent a lot of time on the lake looking at the landing places and the waters so calm and placid, the village is made up of many fishermen and many fishing boats, a place famous for lake fishing, I'm envious of being able to have fresh peace close to home, how delicious! But obviously the village is also a tourist destination so there are many tourists who also do water sports and trek in the hills, furthermore we didn't have time but I would have liked to take a ferry ride from Passignano to the islands of the lake to see them up close. The town has an appearance that reminded me of traditional Umbria especially due to the contrast between the bright colors of nature and the decorations with the brown stones of the houses, a typical Umbrian passage. Here you immediately notice the transition from Tuscany to Umbria, especially in architecture, a border that is not only geographical. This place is great for photography enthusiasts because it has many little corners to photograph. Some corners reminded me a little of my trip to Croatia when I visited Rovinj. Visiting the lake we saw many ducks and geese which I really like because I love animals and they have a funny look. The fortress where you can get there from the cebtro town is easily visited and from above if you feel like taking photos you can take many beautiful photos of the landscape, a single black spot is not very well preserved. After our walk in the town we were hungry and we stopped in a tavern whose name unfortunately I don't remember but I will certainly remember the goodness of the dishes, pasta with bacon and chopped truffles and pepper, very tasty and with a strong taste and sliced meat with crunchy pieces of truffle and crumbled crust on top, a real delight, noble dishes, every now and then it's good to treat yourself, right? We then continued our walk in a hilly area not far from the town from where we could admire the lake and dispose of all the food we had eaten! This is a very enjoyable little trip and I hope to return soon! I would also like to delve deeper into the surroundings of this area, they say that there are many wonderful villages around the lake!

Io adoro i laghi.
