Food on cruise part one MSC Lyrica

Unfortunately I returned from the cruise for a while but I still hadn't published the magnificent dishes that were served to us in the evening at the Ippocampo restaurant. I don't know if you know how it works on MSC cruises, lunch practically takes place in the various buffet stores located on the ship, however dinner takes place in one of the main restaurants on the ship, you have an assigned table with other people of similar ages and nationalities and a very different variety every evening, with a wide choice of first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts. We were lucky we were at the table with all very nice young Italian guys!

I photographed the ones that most impress me every evening, this time I photographed a rich tuna salad, it was served as an appetizer but it's like a full dish,it was really super rich and yummmi with tomatoes, tuna, eggs, onions and olives

Pepper Scamerita, a kind of neat that must been well cooked and flavoured and that piece of meat was really super tasty, accompanied with a potatoes puree and carrots and zucchini a super dish.

A diplomatic style cake with puff pastry and cream really soft and delicious and must say sweets were their forte as I ate two plates of them!

A very impressive and delicate pumpkin and cinnamon soup I really loved it, I'm a big fan of soups and I must admit this one was really yummy and tasty.

Crabs and shrimps sticks accompanied by some fried carrots sticks and a mayo with herbs sauce,the sauce was really super flavoured and I loved it, also the sticks were good.

This one was absolutely my favourite salmon fillet with a rain of caramelized onions on it accompanied by mashed potatoes, the taste of this dish was really super fantastic and I love the way the onions give flavor to the salmon, a great mix!

Fillet steak with potatoes and beans with a mushroom sauce, this one was super too and the sauce so perfect not too heavy.

I don't remember the name of this dessert but it was so yummy a kind of fluffy cream on the top of a circular big biscuit and with some gelatine fruits in it, really delicious!

An iced strawberry cake really light and fresh, it taste like a ice cream cake and was really super soft !
