My favorite steamed bun shop... enjoying delicious treats in the afternoon.

Hello everyone! It's a hot sunny day around 3 PM... After finishing dinner, I felt like having something light and refreshing. Usually, the place near our house is Kendo, with its sweet and cold shaved ice. But my youngest daughter didn't want to eat it today, so she wanted to try a steamed bun with a refreshing honey lemon drink. So, my husband took the kids to our usual shop. It used to be a small shop, but it's moved to a much larger, cleaner, and more spacious location. There's an outdoor area and an indoor air-conditioned area, perfect for relaxing, eating, and chatting – it's really great!

At 3:00 PM, the restaurant was still packed. People were coming in and out. Those who initially went in couldn't find a table, but after a short wait, a group of elderly gentlemen left and gestured for me to sit inside – a small act of kindness in a restaurant. We ordered two pandan-filled buns, one bean bun, four dumplings, two drinks, and one pork bun. Our little one ate one bun and one dumpling, saying they were delicious. We ate and talked about various things, including a small disagreement about my father-in-law's favoritism towards the children. Honestly, I didn't want to get involved, I just tried to comfort my husband and tell him to accept it. The children enjoyed their meal so much that an hour or so flew by. It was time for us to go home and prepare dinner, but we definitely want to come back to this restaurant often because we really like it. And that's my story for today.
