I took these delicious pictures for a coffee shop called Matices, a nice place located in a cool place in the city of Cúcuta, Colombia. The owners of this place wanted photographs for their social networks, they were very specific at the time of our first meeting, before the session they wanted photographs that would awaken the need to try their products, when the day of the session arrived they started to prepare the coffee, the merengada and some other products were freshly made.

Estas deliciosas fotografías las realicé para un café llamado Matices, buen espacio ubicado en un lugar fresco de la ciudad de Cúcuta, Colombia. Los dueños de este lugar querían fotografías para sus redes sociales, fueron muy específicos al momento de nuestra primera reunión, antes de la sesión querían fotografías que despertaran la necesidad de probar sus productos, al llegar el día de la sesión empezaron a preparar el café, la merengada.Algunos otros productos estaban recién hechos.

Inside this place the light was not the right one to take pictures that need so much illumination, so we took advantage of the light offered by the outside of the place and of course some counters had an attractive illumination and we put some products inside there.

Dentro de este lugar la luz no era la indicada para llevar a cabo fotos que necesitan tanta iluminación, así que aprovechamos la luz que nos ofrecía el exterior del lugar y por supuesto algunos mostradores tenían una iluminación atractiva y metimos algunos productos allí dentro.

I built the word of the brand with coffee seeds, an idea that delighted the owners of this place. For the edition I chose a color palette similar to the colors of the logo, I think they were the right ones to give that color and warmth to the photographed products.

Construí la palabra de la marca con semillas de café, una idea que encantó a los dueños de este lugar. Para la edición escogí una paleta de colores similar a los colores del logo creo que fueron los adecuados le dieron ese color y calidez a los productos fotografiados.

Obviously I had to try these delicacies, no product I have photographed that can be eaten has been able to escape my bites. I hope you liked this session and don't forget, the key to photographing food is to get close enough to capture its colors and textures, never photograph food in black and white this is a crime.

Obviamente tenía que probar estas delicias, ningún producto que haya fotografiado y que pueda comerse ha podido escapar de mis mordiscos.
