I was going to ask which focal length you used for these since the background separation is really nice, then saw the 85mm mention. I love that lens for such shots, not just for the separation, but for how smooth that transition from subject to background can be! Been a while since I did something similar with my 85mm, but just a bit too sunny and chaotic around the city to really appreciate it at the moment

Yes, 85mm is such a great focal length for street photography. It's my favorite at the moment, as it allows me also not to go too close to people and still capture a bit of the surroundings for the context. And the background separation is a big advantage as well, as you mentioned.
