I wasn't getting out much for a while. I sort of fell into a bit of a rough patch where I just had no ambition to get out. Though, looking back this was probably a bad decision which led to me getting sick. Even now, my muscles twitch and ache in fury over a blatant vitamin deficiency I've caused by barely getting out and skipping meals. But today, for the first time in a while, I felt like I could actually go outside. My drone batteries were charged, and I had the intentions of checking a nearby shop and pharmacy to see if they had vitamin supplements in stock; with also the plan of getting lunch at the nearby pub after.

It was really nice getting out again. It had been a while. I walked into the fields which were just covered in sunflowers this year, endless rows of them. Field after field, sunflowers of varying shapes and sizes. With plent of bees roaming around enjoying them. Capturing the last of the summery weather. It was windy, though. Windy and threatening to rain. I flew the drone briefly, it struggled against the wind, but I wanted to capture the sunflowers. I had to be more cautious given in this very location a few months ago, they were corn fields, and I managed to crash my drone into them and almost lose it. I feared the same happening again under the wind.

After this, I walked through the countryside on the way to the pub. I can't really eat or drink acidic things at the moment, and have to take a tablet every day to regulate the stomach acid that has been making me feel so rough. I wasn't sure what I'd order, but since I was feeling a bit beggee lately thanks to those tablets, I'd get a sandwich. For the price of £7.50, which is incredibly good for England's prices, that lunch picture is what I got. For context, a beer at that same pub would've been about £5. The sandwich was a BLT: generous bacon, lettuce, and tomato. You get an interesting side of chips (or fries if you're Americanised) and a small side of salad with it all.

It was a fun little trip back into the outdoor world. A nice walk through the fields, some fresh air, and a little glimpse at the slowly coming autumn weather. Followed by a rare lunch. I should do this more often! I'm sure my stomach would appreciate it.

Your stunning Autumn photo show why it's my favorite season and the foliage hasn't even fully lit their colors yet!

Yummy BLT sandwich!🥓🥬🍅

Thank you! Autumn is absolutely my favourite season. I love the colours and the atmosphere so much. The leaves are just starting to fall around, I think today I might challenge myself to walk a bit more and see if I can get some shots of the nearby woods.

Sometimes those rough patches suck so hard you don't even do stuff that you know that you'll a) enjoy and b) probably should be doing. Yay for getting out and about!

That opening shot is amazing.

Yep remember to eat! And did you remember to pick up the vitamins? :D

I'll have to order some since the nearby places didn't have good selections. I have to travel in like a week so I can't do the blood test and figure out which specific vitamins I'm lacking, but looking back, all signs point to me being an idiot, haha.

I think in general just getting some supplements and improving my eating habits will help. But I'll still get the test done and see once I'm back.

If concerned getting tests done definitely won't hurt (except maybe your wallet) and even if it just comes back "eat and sleep better" at least you'll know :D

That sandwhich looks pretty good, and those drone shots are amazing.

Hearing that you hadn't gotten out in a while and obviously didn't get much sun, it's an interesting coincidence that you were confronted by a bunch of sunflowers. Especially the wilting one, is kind of symbolic in a way.

Going through those rough patches where you don't want to go out can suck, but it's great that you pushed yourself and headed out for a bit. Stick to it.

I got to a point a few years ago where I couldn't go out on my own, it was terrible. The longer I stayed like that, the harder it became. Then I started to push myself, just in small ways, like going to the shop. Then eventually on longer walks.

Haha, I didn't even think of that, you're right!

Yeah I've always been inside a lot, but this past year I really did take a bit of a dive and stay in much more, and then I have just barely been eating, everyone's told me I've lost a ton of weight but I just didn't see it, and I rarely felt hungry. but looking back I was probably just ignoring it. Then I think I just got used to it.

Fortunately I have a trip to Istanbul in about a week, I feel capable of going still, I definitely don't feel as rough as I did. I have to take Lansoprazole for a few more weeks but it seems to be helping a ton. I think the rest is just one me to get out there more.

That trip might be just what you need, some time to chill out and have a bit of fun. I'd love to visit Istanbul at some point, it would be so cool.
