Today we’ll be sharing some photos taken at @peinetasproducciones for contemporary dancer @arkangarcia, who trusted @manaure1’s vision to capture the variety of personalities, charisma, and talents that all Venezuelans tend to possess.

There’s an outfit for every occasion, a response for every conversation—even our clothing often represents us in different ways within a single conversation.

How can we explain that this cultural blend should stop? That it shouldn’t be multifaceted, that it should be a single color? It’s almost impossible. That’s why, during a photo shoot, you have to be attentive to what the body and the gaze wish to express. The best thing a photographer can do is remain silent and know how to read everything the subject wants to convey.

We photographers are like that fourth wall—sometimes reflecting what you want to see, or what our gaze manages to see in you.

Hoy compartiremos unas fotos que se realizaron en @peinetasproducciones para la intérprete de danza contemporánea @arkangarcia, quien confío en la mirada de @manaure1, para lograr transmitir esa variedad de personalidades, carisma y talentos que todos los venezolanos solemos tener.

Hay un todo para cada ocasión, hay una respuesta para toda conversación, aunque el mismo vestuario nos suela representar en diferentes temas dentro de una conversación.

¿Cómo le explicamos el mestizaje que se detenga?, Que no sea múltiple, que sea de un solo color, es casi imposible, por eso, en una sesión de fotos tienes que estar atento a lo que el cuerpo y la mirada deseen expresar. El fotógrafo, lo mejor que puede hacer es silencio y saber leer todo lo que la intérprete desea contar.

Los fotógrafos somos como esa cuarta pared, que a veces te refleja lo que tú deseas ver, o lo que nuestra mirada logra ver de ti.
