Hello everyone, it's me again! Tonight I have a dinner date with a Thai friend from my village. We haven't seen each other in a few days. As usual, she invited me over, and I prepared a few things to cook together.

My house isn't far from hers, about 500 meters. I usually walk there; she says she'll pick me up, but today the weather was nice and sunny, so I wanted to get some exercise. It only took about 5 minutes. When I arrived, she had already prepared some of the food, and I helped her cook some of it. We always eat together whenever we see each other, but we always cook our own food because we're Thai and know the flavors well.

During the walk, a dog came to play with me. It's a big, strong dog that loves to hug and play with me. It's very mischievous, but also cute in its own way.

As dinner time approached, we made something simple: a spicy beef soup (sour, spicy, and salty, with tender beef) and papaya salad with rice noodles. My friend also fried some eggplant for us today; it was delicious and crispy.
