‎Boiled Kamoteng Kahoy (Cassava)

‎For breakfast, we had something typical of provincial life. It was the boiled kamoteng kahoy (cassava). It was simply cooked in water with a little salt, and once tender, you can dip each piece in sugar and start eating. This food is often found in the countryside. Just a simple food yet satisfying.

‎Playing Outside

‎That same morning, my two boys spent their time playing outside. Aiden had a fever that time, but playing outdoors made him forget about it for a while. Watching them enjoying their childhood moments always makes me smile.

‎Cooked Something Quick

‎When it's lunchtime, I don't have many ingredients available... So I cooked something quick. It's corned beef with tomatoes and egg. Just after we finished eating, my sister-in-law gave us ginataang dahon ng kamoteng kahoy. It was a bit late, but we were still grateful.

‎Stunning Sunset

‎In the afternoon, we went upstairs... And the sunset was stunning. 😍 The colors spread across the sky creating a peaceful view. Of course, I couldn't help but capture it. Isn't it lovely? 🤗
