Well, I love the passion you have towards photography and you're just good with it, I guess the white and black fit in with the atmosphere of your street.
Taking pictures is always good, but it Will keep the record of a event or a place for a long period, I think that's one value of photography, just my thoughts Though ☺️
I hope you had a splendid celebration

Thank you very much friend @maryjacy for your usual visit and always motivating comment...
Yes... Black and White is something very appropriate to take photos in this type of places like my small town, but Black and White is also my favorite type of photography, I confess, I prefer all my photos in black and white, I have a kind of obsession with this technique and I enjoy observing how a photograph becomes more eloquent in black and white versus its color version... But that, obviously, is a very personal opinion...
When I share color photos, I do it because I understand that many also prefer colors like this, and it also helps me maintain my editing skills... (I take all my photos in RAW format and that way they are not good for publication, first there is to process them with software like Adobe Camera Raw or Raw Therapist, I usually use both)...
Regarding the historical record, that is something that I am passionate about, although I am aware that it is something relatively superficial when it comes to knowing ourselves as fundamentally spiritual beings... But I carry it on as a kind of job or hobby which allows me to go thinking about other things at the same time (the same thing happens to me with photography and that's why I usually mix both things)... hee hee hee... I was born and raised in this town, I sleep in the same room where my grandmother gave gave birth to my mother 76 years ago!... For me, everything here is living history!... It would be impossible for me to escape from this!... ha ha ha... :))
My excuses for the too long answer, I usually write too much sometimes... Greetings and happy 2023 to you and everyone close to you!... Abundant blessings! ;)
