El ladrón que no existió / The thief who did not exist
La lechuga de la ensalada,
sale de su morada,
deja los trozos de verduras en casa
y se va a pasear con calma,
por una cocina cercana.
The salad lettuce,
leaves its abode,
leaves the pieces of vegetables at home
and goes for a leisurely stroll
to a nearby kitchen.
Regresa con una sorpresa,
un tomate de bella presencia,
con la ensalada lo deja
pero él se marcha,
no le agradó la vivienda.

La lechuga piensa que hay un ladrón
y que el tomate se llevó,
por eso toma las verduras con amor

La lechuga no regreso,
la ensalada jamás se vio,
seguramente un nuevo plato encontró,
donde podía vivir mejor,
lejos del ladrón que nunca existió.
