Compartiendo mi galleta / Sharing the cookie
Traigo hasta la mesa
una galleta apuesta,
dos brazos y piernas lleva
además de ojos y cabeza.
Junto a ella hay una ensalada
de donde sale una figura agraciada,
es una flor amarillada
y que hacía la galleta se desplaza.
I bring to the table
a cookie bet,
it has two arms and legs
as well as eyes and a head.
Next to it is a salad
from which a graceful figure emerges,
it is a yellow flower
that moves toward the cookie.
Primero percibe su aroma
así sabe que es dulzona,
se acerca y la toca
y luego acerca su boca.
Muerde un trozo de galleta
y del sabor se enamora ella,
sigue comiendo sin decencia,
si sigue así, acabará con la galleta.
First she smells it,
so she knows it's sweet,
she gets closer and touches it,
then brings it to her mouth.
She bites off a piece of cookie
and falls in love with the taste,
she keeps eating without restraint,
if she keeps going like this, she'll finish the cookie.
En ese momento entro a la escena
y la flor asustada queda,
pero, yo soy buena
y parto la galleta para compartir con ella.
Le dejó el trozo más grande a la flor
y ella la come sin limitación,
cuando termina dice adiós
y regresa a la ensalada, de donde salió.
At that moment, I enter the scene,
and the frightened flower remains,
but I am kind,
and I break the cookie to share with her.
I leave the biggest piece for the flower,
and she eats it without restraint.
When she finishes, she says goodbye
and returns to the salad, where she came from.
