Have you ever dreamt of enjoying bubble tea while surrounded by furry felines? Me neither. But someone out there has had a dream, and I just happened to be in the neighbourhood, when I saw the imprints of that dream.
Thanks to our large Asian population, bubble tea is very popular around these parts. The beverage consists of teas and juices mixed with a variety of fruit or fruit-like gelatinous bits such as coconut, pearls, mango, lychee, etc. It is an oral delight, if you don't mind the chunky bits. So, it's not that rare to come across a place that caters to the bubble tea loving clientele.
This cafe has really kicked things up a notch by adding cats to the mix. I had heard or read somewhere that there was a cat cafe, but I never thought much about it. It was almost like a myth or an urban legend. So, I was surprised and utterly thrilled to have come across it and decided to investigate further.
Kitty sleeping on window!
The few photographs I took don't really do justice to the place. When you first enter, there is a counter with the service ladies arranging your visit and taking your drink orders. It is clean and well organized in that Zen-like Japanese kind of way. There is a lot of cat-associated paraphernalia and goods for sale.
Through the windows, I could see another room. There were some ladies in there enjoying drinks and the company of several cats. The room had chairs, tables, and various furniture so the cats could play and hang out with the humans. I did not take any photographs of the action sadly.
One of the service girls explained that the cats had to be kept in a separate room for various reasons, and the cafe had no blender because the sound drove the cats wild. She said it was necessary to make an appointment, and they were all booked up for the day. I was actually surprised at just how popular the place seemed.
A group of adults and kids showed up then and mentioned they had an appointment.
I grabbed my lychee tea and said goodbye to the kitties. 😸
What do you think? Would you have some bubble tea in the company of furry friends?

Ayy! Please what a beautiful place, I love cats and I have imagined going for a coffee or tea and being surrounded by cats!!!😍
I didn't take pictures of the inside where the cats were hanging out because there were a few people in there. It looked like a cross between a cafe and a playground. Patrons could also sit on the floor to play with them. Hilarious place.
I had heard about those places but I haven't found any yet, I love it, I'm staying there!
😄
Wow... That is quite the place, and I love the name of the cafe 😁 lol
Such a cool idea and can't say I ever seen a cafe like that.
I never had bubble tea and not sure what it is, but I am sure I would like it and I Wouldn't mind stepping in there. So cool you found it and thank you for sharing. And who doesn't Love cats 🐱 right?
I dooooo... Lol
Amazing pictures you took.
Happy week. Cheers 🐱🌺
The fun thing about bubble tea is that as you drink it, you also suck up the "pearls" or other chewy bits with a large straw. So, it's an experience.
If you're a cat lover, then this is the place to be. I didn't go into the cat area, but I saw people inside playing with them. The kitties seemed to like their company, but they also had plenty of room to go play on their own. It looked more like a cat playground than a cafe. 😸
