They're invasive species and can destroy gardens or crops. Apparently, they are edible but taste horrible and have potential diseases, so people leave them alone. 🤢

The waters gets rough around this time of year and boats end up on the shore. Sometimes people's belongings are still in them, so it can be a precarious situation. The ocean is extremely powerful.

Incredible place. It reminds me of Arizona with all those cactuses. The colour of the soil is so rich, and I really like the looks of this smooth tree. Nicely framed in the photo. ![image.png](
