Getting to know a new place to eat / ENG/ESP

Hello friends of Hive, I hope you are feeling well today and have had a good weekend.

Today I come to tell you about a place that was recommended to me, both for the food and for its atmosphere to spend a nice time.

Hola amigos de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy y hayan pasado un buen fin de semana.

Hoy vengo a hablarles de un sitio que me habían recomendado, tanto por la comida como por su ambiente para pasar un rato agradable.

It is located in a sector called "Playa el Angel", which is characterized by being very commercial, with many food stores, supermarkets, pharmacies and others. Before, this was a common street of houses and residential buildings. The street is called "Aldonza Manrique", born in Santo Domingo and who was the first governor of the island in the XVI century. It is said that during her mandate, the island began to prosper. A curious fact is that during her government she did not visit the island, she did it from Santo Domingo through designated Captains, but the story goes that during her mandate she exercised strict discipline towards them and all those under her command.

Este queda en un sector llamado “Playa el Ángel”, el cual se caracteriza por ser muy comercial, con muchos locales de comida, supermercados, farmacias y otros. Antes, este era una calle común de casas y edificios residenciales. La calle se llama “Aldonza Manrique”, nacida en Santo Domingo y quien fue la primera gobernadora de la Isla para el siglo XVI. Se dice que mientras su mandato, la isla empezó a ser próspera. Un dato curioso, es que en su gobierno no visitó la isla, lo hacía desde Santo Domingo a través de Capitanes designados, pero eso sí, relata la historia, que el mandato lo ejercía estricta disciplina hacia ellos y todos los que estaban bajo su mando.

Well, as they say, the sector began to grow as commercial (more gastronomic) since about 5 years ago, first there was a pharmacy, then they began to place a restaurant, then another, then a supermarket, and so little by little it has become one of the busiest places for tourists today. In this street, there is our protagonist of today: Mastranto.

Bueno, según cuentan, el sector empezó a crecer como comercial (más gastronómico) desde hace unos 5 años, primero existía una farmacia, luego empezaron a colocar un restaurante, luego otro, luego un supermercado, y así poco a poco se ha convertido en uno de los sitios más concurridos para los turistas actualmente. En esta calle, está nuestro protagonista del día de hoy: Mastranto.

It is a restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I had been told that the breakfasts were very tasty and that the prices were not so expensive, so I decided to visit them and here is my experience in this place.
The menu offers a variety of typical Venezuelan and American food. You can find arepa, empanada, bread and fruits. I ordered a trio of arepas and my friends who were with me ordered a trio of empanadas. Both dishes with their respective "tartar" sauce. The truth was magnificent, the taste was exquisite, and they cost 4$ and came with a drink. You can order it with meat, chicken, fish or cheese. And well, yes, in Venezuela we are used to arepas or empanadas filled with meat and chicken in the morning, our stomach is trained for that XD. Regarding the lunches, according to them they are very good, but to tell the truth, I only went for a good breakfast. And the sweet area, with a huge fridge just to delight you with cakes, pie and several types of sweets, that surely would be a temptation for the sweet lovers.

Es un restaurante que ofrece, desayunos, almuerzos y cenas.
Me habían comentado que los desayunos eran muy ricos y que en precio no eran tan costosos, por lo que decidí visitarlos y aquí mi experiencia en este sitio.
En la carta hay variedad de comida tanto típica venezolana, como americana. Puedes encontrar arepa, empanada, pan y frutas. Yo pedí un trío de arepas y mis amigas que estaban conmigo, pidieron algunas trío de empanadas. Ambos platos con su respectiva salsa “tártara”. La verdad me pareció magnífico, de sabor estaban exquisitas, y costaban 4$ y venía con una bebida. Puedes pedirla de carne, pollo, pescado o queso. Y bueno, sí, en Venezuela estamos acostumbrados a arepas o empanadas rellenas de carne y pollo en la mañana, nuestro estómago está entrenado para eso XD. Con respecto a los almuerzos, según son muy bueno, pero a decir verdad, solo fui por un buen desayuno. Y el area de los dulces, con una nevera enorme solo para deleitarte con tortas, pie y varios tipos de dulces, que seguramente sería una tentación para los amantes de los dulces.

The place, very nice, the decoration is cozy, with details on the walls that are type vegetable wall, and accessories such as bicycles on the walls and a corner where they placed a heart that says "Family". I thought it was a very nice detail for when you go with your family, you can take a picture there. The lighting is ideal, not too much, but not too little. With lamps with a mirror design and a led edge. The chairs with a simple design, but very nice, made of plastic, and very comfortable. A sofa attached to the wall that is part of the seats of the tables make the atmosphere quite cozy.

El lugar, muy agradable, la decoración es acogedora, con detalles en las paredes que son tipo pared vegetal, y accesorios como bicicletas en las paredes y un rincón donde colocaron un corazón que dice “Familia”. Me pareció un detalle muy agradable para cuando vas con tu familia, puedas sacarte una foto ahí. La iluminación, es ideal, no es excesiva, tampoco es poca. Con lámparas con un diseño de espejo y un borde led. Las sillas con un diseño sencillo, pero muy bonitas, hechas de plástico, y muy cómodas. Un sofá pegado a la pared que forma parte de los asientos de las mesas hacen el ambiente bastante acogedor.

Inside you have air conditioning, because it is very hot on the island, but if you are lucky and the atmosphere is nice, you can sit on the terrace.

Adentro cuentas con aire acondicionado, porque en la isla hace mucho calor, pero si tienes suerte y el ambiente está agradable, puedes sentarte en la terraza.
